Old Churches Of England ⛪

Walking around some beautiful churchyards in south England.
It was a rainy evening and very atmospherical!
A few choppy bits as my gopro was overheating like crazy 🤣

Wow beautiful churches, second one was amazing, so light and clean, I would have done what you did, gone up the stairs then seen the sign not to go up, lol wow you were brave ringing them bells. I was just about to say it looks like a castle with that cross on the outside wall, I love looking at grave stones too. Loving the gargoyles at the 3rd church, shame about not being able to look inside because of the light, brilliant videos though, thank you. We have a couple of really old churches on our little island.

Ahh thanks for the comment. Its a beautiful church and Its a very peaceful activity... obviously i try to be as respectable as I can, but I couldnt resist having a go on the bells!!

The first church, by the time of the reformation was already four hundred years old. A beautiful example of medieval gothic architecture.

Extremely respectful of you not to walk across individual graves. Sometimes in older church yards, it cannot be helped, it's not unusual to see new burials in some churchyards these days. As a academic, I can honestly say that church yards and cemeteries are invaluable resources for research, some people will label you as weird or morbid, I say "let them". 😁💀
