Na it was already said in the interviews from the witnesses on Hulu there was no snow helping, all asphalt.. Even in this video his nephew points out where it happened and its asphalt..

There was an OPP ONTARIO POLICE OFFICER who was sucked or pulled by his arm into a regular walk behind snowblower like an 8 Horsepower, he apparently reached in to unclog the auger while it was running, he was found in the morning dead. Happened out in Orleans Ontario in the 80’s. Just another person who never read the Safety Manual or paid attention to those bright Orange and Black colored stickers depicting a person having their arms CUT off in the Auger / Blade keep out area…..Stupid is that Stupid does!

The snow definitely helped a little being pushed deeper down reduced the weight a little
