    I wanted a ridgeline for honda reliability. Had a honda civic for 220k mile with no problem only regular maintenance.

    Favorite thing about memory seats. One for my driving position and the other set for what I call my interning and exiting position.

    Traded my 16’ Tahoe for a 21’ Ridgeline Blk edition since I don’t often tow, compared it with Tacoma and I’m convinced I’ve made a great choice! (Ridgeline is great 97 percent of time for me over Tacoma since I don’t go HARD off-roading) Mpg is at 22.6 after mixed 22 k miles, so comfy to drive, plenty of amenities, and the Blk edition looks great imo.. I would like a better transmission as under hard acc, it keeps moaning in the lower gears instead of up shifting once letting go of gas, and better lane keep assist. Great detailed vid👍

    Prices are insane for trucks. I’ll be buying a ridgeline since it suits my needs more than the competitors. But, i’ll be waiting for a good deal on a used one.

    I had a 2020 Ridgeline RTL-E that i bought new for $41,500! Lately i got a 2019 Passport because the new Ridgeline RTL-E Sticker was $47,800!

    I owned a 2019 and loved it and when I got ready to trade for a new 2023 there was not enough luxury items to justify the 45k plus for the vehicle

      The midsized pickup segment has certainly increased in price over the last few years!

      @DailyDrivers The 2nd Generation Ridgeline 2017-2023 has Stadium type Rear Seating. So yes your position is above front seats.
      Volvo uses it in some vehicles.
      They claim for motion sickness.
      I don't know but your not looking at back of front seat. So a child will have a better view of what's in front. The first Generation Ridgeline 2006-2014. While comfortable seats for its time. You are back behind front seat not able to see especially a child more.

      Actually the Ridgeline has a Tri-Zone Climate Control. It has a 3rd temperature setting for rear seats. The driver or front passenger has to set it up front or it can be sync. This is on the USA spec Ridgeline. In the Canadian Spec Black Edition others they have separate rear Climate controls in the rear of Ridgeline.

      @tycheatham1594 Před rokem +1

      @@fredmoss4540oh yesssss they DO!
      Actually our RTL-E is badged a "Touring" model in Canada. Those come with heated as well as ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, the rear climate controls as mentioned by Fred, and 2 or 3 other options also that we unfortunately don't get in the U.S.
      The options on that "Touring" Ridgeline carry over to the Black Edition as was mentioned by @fredmoss4540... and it breaks my heart that we don't have that model in the U.S or that no one can tell me why!? 😢💔

    nice review!, I like this a nd the 23 Nissan Frontier , I have to choose lol , whats your thoughts on a frontier?

    • @DailyDrivers
      @DailyDrivers  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I do think the new body style Frontier is much much better than before. I think its better for doing truck things. However I personally like the Honda more. Seems a little more utilitarian in other ways

    I've been contemplating trading my 2017 Silverado in for a Ridgeline.. mostly for the better fuel economy. I've been waiting for the 2024 release to see if there are any updates.. but I'm really getting anxious and may just jump on a 2023 soon. My only hold-back is the 5000lbs towing capacity. I have a small 7x12 trailer that I converted to a camper and I occasionally tow my motorcycle in it. It'll probably tow it fine.. but my Silverado doesn't even know the trailer is behind it.

      The V6 should have plenty of power!

      @@DailyDrivers I'm also curious to see the new Tacoma hybrid.. but I suspect thats gonna cost $60k or more. I really like the Ridgeline tho.

    I think piano black interior plastic is a bad fit for a car with a rugged theme. As a matter of fact, it's a bad fit for ANY car.
