Crush Haulover Inlet = Use the inlet when the waters are far calmer than normal.
Your videos regularly demonstrate that overpowering 3-5 feet waves in a pass does NOT require beating the elements with dollars and power. Skillful drivers handle the challenge by careful STEERING and power CONTROL, positioning their small boats intelligently in the swell. Pure overpowering and high speed is spectacular and fun to watch, and some of these monster boats are beautiful. In the Pacific Islands, we face regularly waves of 3 to 4 METERS and treacherous currents in narrow passes with rather cheap and ordinary vessels.
Any tips? Non-boater here but I’m really admiring both the boats and skill these drivers have.

Everything after the bridge there’s no speed limit. Once you hit the bridge everything after is no wake zone.

For awhile I was starting to like outboards but more and more I’m preferring the clean lines of inboards without a bunch of engines hanging off the stern.
If you live in s FL, you'll re love outboards. Easy to rise and to pull out of the salty water. An board left in the water is asking for headaches

To be fair, the water in this video isnt nearly as choppy as in the fail videos......so I can understand why these boats were able to cruise right through. You can see looking at the water the waves aren't close to what they are in the fail videos.

Never ever kayak that close to inlets and rough waters. Unless you are a very athletically fit person and use to that sort of rough water. Never try to enter a kayak near rocks or get near rocks with a fiberglass kayak or any other kayak. The guy with the BAD boat , that little dog , is gonna go for a swim one day , and they are going to be 10 miles away from the pup before they even notice it.
