Looks like Texas athletic director Del Conte snagging Schlossnagle from A&M is paying dividends even for the Longhorn football program. I would never have guessed that Texas would be in contention for Jonah Williams in August. Williams committing to Texas would be insane for the football and baseball programs 🤯🤯🤯🤯

DK was a silent Texas commit on his last visit at Texas with his family then the O threw him the bag

Here in DFW Lockett and Moore are pretty big rivals. Lockett has been overshadowed by Moore and Duncanville locally and he's definitely noticed. There was no way he was going to whichever school Moore went to and Sark knew it.
Word from OVs is that Fasusi REALLY loves the party scene and indulged quite heavily in Norman. I see him going to OU. Venebles runs a looser ship in that aspect than Sark. After missing on Fasusi Texas goes full press on John Turntine in '26 to get another LT in the pipeline. They will not be beaten for Turntine.
I think Texas gets Terry, Ffrench, and possibly Williams. Williams is an odd one because I don't see how playing both sports can work in this day. Spots are way too competitive and time spent on pne sport will put him behind for the other one.
Unless he's absolutely all world level at one of them, but if that's the case then why risk future pro star status by playing both?
It's a catch 22. I think his pro prospects are better at football than baseball and if that shows up in his first year he'll ditch baseball.

Well is it safe to say if they are "crystal balled" to Texas that there is an 85%chance they are heading elsewhere 😢

Nope, even Wiltfong has historically (Dating back to his days at 247Sports) disliked the Longhorns and always loved reporting when a high-level recruit was leaning away from Texas being their destination. Cope harder.

    Wiltfong with On3 > Wiltfong with 247Sports.

Correct. Better format honestly with more FaceTime.
