CORRECTION: The thread on the end of the shifter stick is 1.5 CENTIMETERS long not inches long like I mentioned in the video. A brainfart mind refusing to adopt the metric system, duh!

lol, this video was perfect because it showed me that the guest shifter previously installed was backwards. Love cleaning up after people …

I'm changing my shifter from the previous owners install who half assed a cheap short throw in it and had to cut the weather boot to make it fit, it isn't even in the stock hole for the weather boot, explains why my shifter was feeling mooshy at times and getting stuck. I got a sikky short throw and ordered a new weather boot, thanks for the video it really helped out

I wonder if I'm having the same issues. Some days it'll go into gear feeling awesome, other days it'll be mooshy and really need worked

Awesome video! I hope you are loving the new shifter! I like how your car is yellow, too! It matches the shifter.

This is awesome. What a beautiful color of automobile also! I watch your vid which motivated me to purchase a short throw, not yet installed by the way lol. I was going to go your route, but I decided with shifter bc 2nd is so hard for me to enter. If it weren't, I definitely would have went your route! Very useful info on disassemble. Thanks

What did you get for a knob? I recommend getting the shift light enabled too if you haven't already to up the fun factor.
