@@trwent That is very different. If a single member of congress votes against every single bill, that simply means that more other members must be in a consensus in order to pass the bill. A single member voting against just means that a bill must be better to actually pass. I dislike how it only takes >50% of congress to agree on a budget before they can pass it. I work in some groups and we won't do stuff if even 10% of the group opposes something. If they have a concern, we should address it. Granted it is a smaller group. Imagine if we passed a law that 49% of the nation hated and 51% though it was an OK idea. That would be horrible yet that is how congress runs.
