- When Douglas Spale, a Black man adopted into a mixed-race family from Nebraska, heard a request for more diverse role models in the upland hunting world, he answered the call. What came next was an incredible bond between himself and a young budding hunter that was forged over bird dogs, whirring wings, and the upland landscapes that are so important to both new and seasoned hunters and conservationists alike.
Ripples is a Buckshot Collective Film and is presented by Pheasants Forever, Quail Forever and Thorogood Boots.

Positive ripples... great words! Thank you!
This is a great story, told in a very meaningful way. You're father has to be so proud of the man you are. Please keep spreading these positive ripples, they are so needed. God Bless You
YES!
Let's build on this!!!
I’m here after listening to Douglas on the Big Honker Podcast. Great video
The absolute best hunting story I have ever heard. Good on you sir.
Such a cool story!
Mr Spale, I have just been humbled by listening to your story. I wish I was 1% of the man you are.
Two father's love their sons and two sons that love their father. Great story.
Beautifully told; it touched my heart.
Great story. Great film. We need more of this.
Great production
Fantastic!
Great video, made me think towards this hunting season with my son. Well done.
Very nice 👍 👍
Very great video!! I absolutely admire what you men are doing with your boys! Good work
Oh my gosh, I bawled and bawled and was SO happy seeing that kid shoot that bird. Having shot 500+ birds in my life, that one a kid shoots blows them all away.
Inspiring
