But if you buy one, get a new battery ordered asap. Mine is fine most of the time currently, but it does drain very, very quickly (in traffic, it'll drop from 80% to 10% within 400 meters.)
      I'll be ordering from InfiniteEV - $4,220, shipped, supplied, fitted+labor, and old battery disposed of, including decent warranty. Not too bad.

    Install some aftermarket coil overs to get rid of the body roll and some good quality tires (Pilot Sport 4S) and it would improve pretty much all it's dynamic flaws by the sound of things.

    These are good, I prefer to shift with the lever rather than the paddles, you don't notice the latency as much, I prefer the is350 or gs350 but they're all good dailies, and pretty quick around town.

      Why? Mark X is better built, more economical, as fast and undoubtedly more reliable. Paid 18k in perfect condition

    • @vincekara9446
      @vincekara9446 Před 2 měsíci

      @@christophedecavalla2941 Sorry. It just looks boring. Like an Uber car with wheels and a kit. Another Aurion. When something goes wrong then the expenses exceed the Falcon overall.

    • @christophedecavalla2941
      @christophedecavalla2941 Před 2 měsíci

      @@vincekara9446 unlike the falcon taxi look? Mechanicals are identical to Lexus GS and IS. Any part price difference with Ford are cancelled by price difference of the car and reliability. I've owned both so I know what Im talking about. Falcons are good and was happy with mine but looks are subjective and they're not even in the same league when it comes to built quality and efficiency.

    • @vincekara9446
      @vincekara9446 Před 2 měsíci

      @@christophedecavalla2941 Actually the BF F6 is climbing in value and I can say that it exceeds the price difference to yours and will continue to do so. In relation to build quality, I completely agree with you; that the Toyota is way superior and more efficient. However the reliablity of the Barra, mated with the German ZF6 speed will give your car a good run for its money. If you iron out is inherit issues, such the transmission bypass cooler, external Turbo oil line feed and an aftermarket, reinforced ignition fix, they will last for a long time. They love constant maintenance and not neglect, like many racers do. Run them to the ground and complain when they get a hefty repair bill. In fact my brother's ~ 2013 Aurion 6 cylinder neeeded a water pump replacement less than 100 Kms. I guess it depends on the way its been treated. Like you said it's subjective.

    Was also thinking of getting a Crown but went for the Mark X as it is 200kg less than the Crown and a 100kg less than Lexus IS. I get 13km/l on the open road. Mine is the Premium, which are better equiped, are less likely to have been abused and go for a lot less. If you’re not into the “look at me” thing, they’re a better buy. Doesn’t get a second glance as it looks like grandpa’s Camry but has a better power to weight ratio than a 6 litre V8 commodore. They’re actually 234Kw with 380Nm of torque and weigh only 1550kg. Have embarrassed a few people at traffic lights. Quicker than a TRD Aurion, much better fit and finish and a fraction of the price.

      Nice man, I have an IS350 F Sport and it's about 14 L/100. I didn't realise that these were lighter than my Lexus 😯
