It's a little painful seeing this. My father, sister (who, like the overwhelming majority of my country, are non-Muslims) and I, all began working in food service; however virtually all of these jobs are prohibited, so it leaves me with very few options as they make the bulk of job opportunities in my vicinity.

@@sleeping12345 When Sheikh Falaah bin Ismaaeel al Mundikar حفيظه الله came to visit the US in about 2011, I asked him if it was permissible for someone to work at a place that sold some halal and some haram things due to necessity because other income sources were proving insufficient.
He mentioned a fatwa from Ibn Taymiyyah رحيمه الله regarding this same matter and that it is permissible to work at a place with this mixture of halal and haram things only as long as is necessary and one cannot earn the sufficient income with a wholly halal situation. He also mentioned that the place cannot be selling only haram things or that its primary source is only haram, such as a liquor store.
And all knowledge and success are with Allah.
      Wa Alhamdulillaahi Rabbil ‘aalameen.
Wa Sal Allaahu wa sallama wa Baarak ‘alaa Nabiyinaa Muhammad wa ‘alaa aalihiy wa ashaabihiy ajma’een.
May Allaah help this Ummah upon taqwaa.

Asalamualaykum. Is it haram to work as a security guard at concerts and festivals? Please pray that Allah provides me with a halal job.

Today youth problems is around their mental health problem, the society around them force them to do a jobs that pay above average, even marriage is hard thing to do now, the woman among muslim already demanding something out of this world, like 100k for marriage gift alone, the woman ask this without thinking their marriage life, in other hand this action forcing the man do more than before just to be have decent life, lot of man today is not getting marriage cause how merciless the society is, they can't just become farmer and have family, in the past everyone can have family, but in today era, money is the first thing you need, to have decent life, and not just any money that keep you alive, but money that can make you travelling through continent. I think all of this trend and lifestyles that make people and this generation secluded themselves, and the chance become more higher when they have traumatic event in the past.
