That wasn't clear at all to anyone who really thought about it and calculated the outcomes. If you look even at the initial Russian central bank estimations and other estimations from Russian government agencies, they expected the economy to do much worse. If those estimations came through, it's very much likely that the situation on the ground would've been completely different. The success under absolutely absurd sanctions while fighting against everything the nations that have lead the Earth for centuries can throw at them in both military and economic sense wasn't clear at all. There wasn't ever an example like that, if you look at Venezuela or Iran or North Korea that are actually sanctioned less than Russia, their economies have been succesfully decimated

Ukraine lost its first F-16 in the air and Aleksey Mes, callsign ‘Moonfish’, However up to 5 have been lost pre flight in a previous Russian missile strike. The ony game change the F-16 has achieved is, the meme's will change.
I heard that he was attempting to defect to Russia in an F-16 and was promptly shot down by a Patriot.
I remember claims that two F-16s were possibly destroyed by the recent Russian air strike on Ivano-Frankivsk airport. I don't know if there were ever visual confirmation or some other confirmation afterwards. But planes aside, I believe I have read that at least 20 of the 31 Abrams tanks received by Ukraine have been destroyed. Russia is slowly disarming all of NATO....

its a pretty hard swap...both countries are having their power grids hammered...russkies are taking back ground they lost in 22...so while that happens...the kursk incursion isn`t going well for the russkies...eastern front same for the uks...biggest thing is that the blocking tech has gone both sides...neither is able to say drone will hit it`s target...unless it is on a fibre optic cable...new war is coming

If Ukraine is tripling down towards the Kursk area and the Russians are able to hold their advance, this will serve the Russians very well to further weaken the Ukrainian lines elsewhere, especially if the AFU continues to send its best troops and equipment to the Kursk offensive.
It’s basically the entire western army so won’t effect the eastern front but now nothing guards from Belarus

Didn't Russia had like only 700 troops in Korenevo and very limited logistics in whole western part of Kursk?I don't get it i am starting to think those insane numbers by Russian MoD of NATO/Ukraine loss of 7000+ KIA might be true.
I remember reading Ukraine were already forced to withdraw two brigades from Kursk because they had taken too much damage/losses, were no longer combat capable, so they were sent back to Sumy. This was more than a week ago, before the recent deluge of Russian advances like taking Novogrodovka in 4 days.

Zelensky's roleplay as a General has pretty much guaranteed the balkanization of Ukraine once Russia has completed its SMO goals. Remember the US news of the loss of high ranking generals due to sudden accidents ? we learned later that those generals were send to Ukraine and their death occurred right after Russian attacks, what a coincidence!, also remember the state of the art game changers that due to its high tech would be undefeatable for obsolete and laughable Russian tech? after their destruction we read news that these were old equipment, not the high tech they said at the beginning, and they failed because poor maintenance, not because of unexpected Russian's weapon superiority.
