      Some people are still old school and wanna do it themselves. Just if you can afford the car it doesn't mean you have to pay a fortune for others to do what you can yourself. People take pride on fixing things themself even if they payed a lot for it or it's fancy

    • @Robonza
      @Robonza Před 3 lety +1

      The reason some people can afford these cars is they don't waste money on mechanics etc and they get the job done right.

    LILEVO - Jason Tanon. About how long does it take for the oil change? Thanks for the upload.

    • @LILEVO
      @LILEVO  Před 6 lety

      Not much longer than any other vehicle. I would say 30 minutes - 1 hour would be plenty.

    Should've taken the vacuum line in the middle off. You gotta be careful or you'll break the fitting but it makes it a lot easier than having to work around it.

    • @intec23
      @intec23 Před 5 lety +1

      Nickel Reed I took the fittings off at the top. Theyre metal i think

    wtf raise the rpm to 2000 for 2 min to check the oil? thats weird, i would check the oil after the engine have sit for 5 min, or better when it sit for longer time and got cold

      Dry sump, it works differently than wet sump.

      Needs a tune up and I’d bet the rings are not in good shape considering the 7,000 mile oil changes

  • @Alaskabuilt_
    @Alaskabuilt_ Před rokem +1

    7,000 mile oil change 😂 that’s terrible. So is the quart every 600 miles. Destroying the rings that way.

  • @somepuertoricanguy5668
    @somepuertoricanguy5668 Před 7 lety +1

    Never change the oil on a hot engine, every thing is scolding hot and the oil is going to burn the shit out of you.

    • @huntguy3831
      @huntguy3831 Před 7 lety

      Heather Losalo That's different. If you don't have to burn the shit out of yourself it's best to avoid it.

    • @jonathanschultz2472
      @jonathanschultz2472 Před 7 lety

      if you do it quick you won't get any on you. I've done hundreds of oil changes at a shop. we don't have time to let them cool down. just learn it or burn it.

    • @Robonza
      @Robonza Před 3 lety +1

      Hot oil flows out much easier so you get a much better oil change. When you love your car you just do it.

    • @Alaskabuilt_
      @Alaskabuilt_ Před rokem +1

      Incorrect. Always change it when it’s hot because it drains better.

  • @securityguy
    @securityguy Před 8 lety +4

    What kind of crappy engine burns 1 qt. of oil every 1000km? That only happens when you have oil control ring issues.

    • @LILEVO
      @LILEVO  Před 8 lety +6

      +Ronnie Shih look in any owners manual of any vehicle and there is a statement about normal oil consumption amounts.

    • @bertoooish

    • @danielfl.9347
      @danielfl.9347 Před 6 lety +1

      Ronnie Shih it is only if you drive like a fucking maniac. If you drive it like a Toyota it wont use any

    • @Alaskabuilt_
      @Alaskabuilt_ Před rokem

      @@LILEVO yes and the government forced them to do that. If you are biting that much then you have serious issues with the rings
