Yea, I respect him very much. Honestly I don't like the system they ask dancers "You win or lose" after the battle. Dancers out there are come for winning the battle, they put their stuff(moves) to each other seriously. So even you ask them you win or not, its really difficult to answer. Who want to say I lose

Paradox like, "I choose Icee. He's like the most difficult to beat, but I wanna see him dance some more lmfao." Paradox is the real face of newstyle imo.

@@Lionelmachtvideos I think if you use anything choreographed, or your movements are not sort-of "pure freestyle", it qualifies as newstyle(let me know if I'm wrong). Though paradox does freestyle a lot, he also uses a lot of moves he's memorized. So idk what to classify him as tbh.

To be honest I think Icee is the hardest hip hop dancer to battle against, you really have to be at the top of your game to beat him. That guy is so unpredictable, he's a pure genius when it comes to freestyle.

I see a lot of comments about the end result. Know this, as a dancer you have the most reflection in the moment when you are dancing. You know when you are tired, running out of steps, or you feel like you are being bested. Paradox probably felt that if they went another round he would not have answers to what Icee threw at him, if you look close enough you can see moments where he either repeated things he had already done or used stall steps to absorb his time. Icee didn't do that! Paradox is amazing to make it to the final, no doubt in that, but he knows best what was going on in that ring. If he says he lost, he knows that's the proper call.
Otherwise he would have let it go to crowd decision.
Idk, I think Paradox won before the extra round, so that's a bit unfair. He's just a humble dude. He let the crowd get to him.

The 1st time i saw icee dance (different video)i didn't understand all the hype,but once i focused in and downloaded all intricacies of the way he dances. He's Truly next level.sometimes he's too much for the average eyeballs to digest.i used to do quality control,so pull out your QC eyes & be Amazed!!!

Man the whole "did you win or lose" question really confuses a person. Most dancers are in their own bubble with the music while battling so when they get asked that question they have to think really really hard about it. If they really think they got smoked that's another story.

icee is like his moves are too mature to a point where they dont look polished like. paradox moves are polished af. then keftons moves are complete raaaaw. which is why id prefer both of them over icee. hes an experienced dancer dont get me wrong. i just like yeah

I think he felt bad cause after the third round icee said "if it's a freestyle I won" because paradox does practice different variations of his moves and chains them together. Cause he talks and teaches people to do that on his CZcams channel . He uses like 1 or 2 each round. But I think he won its just icee probably made him feel guilty that's it's not pure freestyle😒
Basically politics, which is like the number one thing I hate about this community. And a freestyle is a freestyle organized or not, Icee gotta get that through his head lol. Dance is an art in any shape or form imo, no rights or wrongs

im rather late. i watched this time ago. with everything where there is a winner and a loser you find "ego"
on bruce for me i got nothing from him. dont get me wrong his good just doesnt do it for me like gucchon, nelson, hoan, brooke,acky,pete.
on icee his so special cos he sits in the pocket while being sooooo dynamic. his ever evolving as well. icee of 2012 is completely different to now. his one of the most dynamic dancers in hip hop ive ever seen. the young kats are not as dynamics and my man is in his 30's and getting better. this may be to him being so light footed.
last years battle waydi vs icee was epic as waydi is new skool and real good and icee is considered old skool. they both pushed each other but icee has more levels. He does things which are so unexpected yet musical.

Naw man, Paradox won the Judge Battle against Franky Dee. So he chose a fourth dancer to dance in the semis, who obviously was Icee since he gave up in the earlier round.

Someone already said it but i'm going to go deeper into this just to give my opinion. Icee is a very good freestyler who has intricate and fluent moves, now, the special thing about him is that he has had the time to let them mature and GROW. On the other hand, Paradox is a young and talented dancer, who is also a really balanced freestyler and has dynamic and very original moves, which are very interesting, but he stills to work more in developing them to make them reach their full potential. For me, that's the difference between the two of them. After all, even though Icee is so good, it's just a matter of time before Paradox has the opportunity to improve and become a better dancer.
I already think Paradox has done just that numerous times, there's this one showcase video of him where he seriously murders a song and if that's not perfecting his style then idk what is lol

It's funny how most of the comment section says that paradox should have won but when you ask them why its just 'because he was better'. But the only reason they want paradox to win is because they know him better. Paradox has a bigger following then Icee so more people going on paradox his side. Its just like all the people who are butt hurt by criminalz crew allready eliminated in the first round, they think criminalz crew has the best dancers. Let me open your mind there are more dancers then: Waydi, les twins, rochka and paradox. Im not saying these dancers are not better then most of the dancers because I absolutely look up to all of them but when a dancer loses to Icee you should be able to understand, Icee is a master in hiphop (so i dont get it why he doesnt have a following like CC or paradox).

DARTH MAUL I think that is because icee has a different style like he dances the real hip hop if you look at left on les twins and all those kind of guys they are commercial dancers and they do more stuff that leave the crowd in oooos and aaas

Never really watched either but paradox was a lot more fun to watch than icee, I kinda skipped some of the other guys dances cause I lost interest
I disagree, I'm a big Les Twins fight, but I think Larry easily beat L'eto just like Paradox easily beat Laurent. In this battle I think it was extremely close and honestly could've been another round. Every round was a tie, but I think Paradox decidedly won the third round, although I think Icee may have edged him out on round 1.

I will never understand this "you win or you loose?" question. What are the judges for then? How can you dance and judge your own battle at the same time? how can you avoid the obvious conflict of interest? This is bullshit.
This is actually a good question. The judges are there for the early battles, i believe they are chosen based on their prior performance in past events. Anyway the reason to judge your own battle. You eliminate the "judges were wrong" mentality because you are that judge. It is the ultimate sign of self awareness to be able to say "i need to go back and practice." In MMA they have the saying "never let it go to the judges" because judges can make a mistake of you just may not agree with their opinion, but if you tap out YOU KNOW YOU LOST! So to judge yourself in a battle is to be honest with yourself and your skill level.

Sometimes I find it hard to respect what Icee does because he (in my humble opinion) doesn't show respect to other dancers during their round. I mean, I get that sometimes you may not feel like the other dancer is doing justice to all the beats/ melodies/ phrases/ feeling in the song or you really just can't help yourself from moving to the music but it comes off as arrogant (to me). I appreciate his contribution to dance and he may just be the coolest dude on the block....idk the guy... but it's just distracting and difficult to watch battles with him.

because you feel a certain way about something doesnt make what icee does wrong, do a brief reading on the hip hop culture and how dancers interact in battle and you will find what he does is quite normal and not intended to be cocky or disrespectful
