Vegas steakhouse suggestion... If you haven't already, try Gallaghers in NYNY hotel. It's the best steak I've ever had myself. Cheers.

oh damn. Me too! I think the last time I was in that pool was a year or two after that. No cushions or pads on the hard wooden lunge chairs but it was a pretty big pool
Tried both the longhorn and beefeater and both were very good. Longhorn a bit cheaper, my Thai lady said the Thai food was better in the beefeater. Next time try the mashed potato instead of chips. Delicious 😎
Great plug for Longhorn, Mr Besty. I mosey'd on down and opted for the TUNA steak with chips and steamed rice. 10 out of 10 it was.

At first I thought well 1190 baht sounds expensive. But I just looked.. The price for australian angus t-bone in Bangkok is 930 baht .. that is not from a restaurant that is uncooked from an importer.
In the states the cheapest I could find is about $31.50 and that is also uncooked from an importer.
So 1190 baht for the steak , fries and everything at a restaurant.. and it looked great... is a pretty good price.
Nice one! Vlogged the lamb chops there a while back, was delicious and even had proper mint sauce. Imported steak is pricier in Thailand, as is say Tom Yum Goong in Uk/Europe or the States (go figure;) But as a treat in either locale why not.
Exactly STL. There are cheaper steaks available in this restaurant. There's a 450 baht t bone in the thumbnail. I fancied treating myself as I hadn't eaten for 4 days.

Not wanting to sound negative, but it’s cheaper here in Australia, so it wouldn’t make a lot of sense to pay for that while on holiday when good steaks are here in abundance. But if you were living there , and had a craving, that would make sense .

best thing you can order at Longhorn is the mexican spring roll's for the a Appetizer.. and main the RibEye Steak with pepper source and baked potato. and about 4 to 5 san mig's will do you fine.

Price is not to bad considering it's an import cut of meat, about $50 AUD. At least it comes with sides and condiments.
Got to import it, pay duty and other taxes, Pay the staff this all adds up.
Plus with the strong Baht, yeah can be expensive same with the spirits.

Of course its not cheap, but its a treat, and if its good and you can afford it its worth it. Everybody knows you can eat cheaper elsewhere in Pattaya.

220 baht for Bombay Sapphire gin. That's criminal, can even get it cheaper on Walking Street.

I stay away from western food when I am in Thailand though I do get my fill of pizza in north Pattaya but I think that $50.00 for a steak in Thailand ! I can wait till I am back in California to eat this style of food ...I am happy that you enjoyed your food after being sick for the past week.. at least you are leaving on a better note...ive been in the same situation in Pattaya before... Also wanted to make a comment on The Steak House at Circus Circus ( called the Steak House at Circus Circus ) is really about the same price for Aged Prime steaks ... I go there all the time for trade shows and my friends are always stunned that its at the circus circus hotel.. the average dinner there is around $50.00 per person a deal...

Jay ... it’s imported steak from Australia. It is top level food . You have to know steak in order to appreciate it. IMHO best steak in pattaya.

The Thai one actually has decent food though. I've been to the one in Orlando when I lived there. It was pretty grim.

Using imported beef will add enormous overheads to the cost of the raw ingredients, and T-bone is not that cheap in Australia to begin with.
