Low key one of the best. “That’s what she said” placements I’ve ever heard. Great lesson too

You should do a lesson for let me sing your blues away. Try to see if you can make that horn part in the intro into a guitar part. That would be awesome

Theses are great! My only suggestion would be some chord diagrams at the end. Then i can screen shot them and work on them. But these are great!

    Nice lesson, love the memes
I personally think that one way to improve them is explaining the chords instead of just saying which to play. Because, for example, when most people hear an E they immediately think of the regular E Open chord shape, even though in this lesson you use a different one. Obviously, for things as basic as an open D chord there's no need, but it would be much appreciated if you were to explain the other not so common shapes. If you want to see an example of this being implemented into a lesson, I suggest you watch any lesson from Marty Schwartz, he usually goes like "and now we move into a D minor bar chord in the fifth fret" or something like that and shows the chord, explaining the position of the fingers and such. This implementation could make the lesson much more useful, since you could just simply search the chords and tabs for this song online instead of watching this.
But anyways, it's just a recommendation. Thanks for the lesson man, I'll be watching out for new stuff

Thanks for the suggestion. The newer lessons have definitely gotten better. This is the first one I did in this series. So, it’s definitely not the best. This was from over 8 months ago.

Very sick! Thanks for the tutorial. I also find it fun in the intro to add a hammer on to the A, think it makes it a lil funky

    F#m G D
    Just like Billy Sunday,
    G A
    In a shotgun ragtime band...
I play it like this because it still sounds good and I'm lazy :)

Just keep practicing them. They are pretty integral to playing dead tunes. You got this bro. And once it’s muscle memory, you’ll be ripping leads off those chords.

I totally love your energy teaching and playing guitar but I can't play those chords in the C shape up the neck. It's frustrating that you always play those C shape chords all the time. Maybe I need to move on. I need somewhere between the level of "I've been playing these songs for years and this is how I played them"
and "I know how to play all these songs and this is an easy way for you to play them."
    Just in-between there someplace.
    Thanks Davey.... love bro
