It's more convenient for me to have one bag to keep all the items in it, so when you leave home you just take it with you and everything is already inside.
It's absolutely great how you can keep all that edc items in your pockets. Most of the time I find impossible to include all that I need in my jeans pockets haha. Amazing video as always!
I'm one of those people who dislikes anything in their pockets but watching him, has me practicing putting my knife,lighter, small flashlight in my person everyday before leaving home. It's important especially there in L.A.
Without a doubt you have a lot of cool stuff. My second thoughts on this topic are: The big question here is not which items you carry edc in your pocket, but WHY do you carry those items, and is this video a big advertisment for those items. If you travel a lot - many of these items could be seen as contraband in airports in many security checkpoints and similar places and could get you in trouble.

Unfortunately Leatherman discontinued the Juice series & when I emailed them about it they don't see it coming back again. Love my CS4, sad I wasn't able to get another one.
Isn't it more practical to turn off your phone, or even set it in Airplane Mode to avoid tracking instead of carrying a specific bag for RF insulation?
There are some interesting videos that show that your device is still trackable while in Airplane Mode, which disables cellular data, bluetooth, and WiFi but NOT GPS. Once you turn off Airplane Mode all of your GPS location info will resync.
Some years back I got ency about using my pocket knife (cold steel Vaquero) to open boxes as well, but the it dawned on me the back of the blade (the unsharpened side) could be used to open the box instead, and it works fine!
@@alexplude8308 Yes but the tape used to seal the boxes give way just as easily to the back of the blade, the un-sharpened side, as it does to the edged side. It keeps me from messing up the edge in anyway an also means I don't need to carry another tool to do the job of zipping boxes open. Still, you could use your car key, but using the back of your pocket knife which is always on you and immediately available has worked perfectly over the years. Cheers!
I like your central idea of the gray man concept; especially if you live in a blue state which, purging is coming to those who are self sufficient and independent in both thought(not following the herd)and actions.

LOL!!! I feel like Dr. Alan Grant from Jurassic Park when he said "T. Rex doesn't want to be fed, he wants to hunt. Can't just suppress 65 million years of gut instinct". I felt the same thing when using my Benchmade on packing tape. Now I prefer to use it on other things. :)
I like the addition of the razor blade. I have been carrying the same Listo Carton Cutter every day since 1998, and had one for 5 years prior that was stolen. It has blades that are only pennies a piece and can be changed out as necessary. It is extremely basic but highly effective and by far my most used EDC item.
0:47 We should never show our keys! It is very easy to produce a key copy from a photo or vid showing the bitting on keys, and yes there's also a app for Key-cloning from pics as well. Orbit Key holders are great for key protection
I just watched Adam Savage's video on the Jason Bourne burn bag recreation and though it would be interesting to see how you would make a real one for you. Think items that you would need if the police or criminals were after you.
Glad that you are trying to make this as geographically universal as possible, and even so several items from this load-out could get you 10 years' jail in the UK! :(
I’m just starting to get into the idea of prepping. So maybe in a newbie thing to ask. But how in the heck do you remember all that every day?! I mean deadset. How do you even sit down without something poking into you. Love the ideas but I just can’t wrap my head around all that stuff
1. You need to find the right pants (deep pockets, a bit stretchy, the correct number of pockets, etc) 2. You need to find comfortable gear (flat, rounded, designed for deep carry, etc) and maybe even gear that frees up space (like a bigger multitool instead of a knife and a smaller multitool) 3. You can have a "rotation". Not all items fit together. For example, you might have to choose between multitool and folding knife due to your pocket space. And it's perfectly fine, switch them around as you want or need. 4. Consider... Not carrying it in your pockets! Make an EDC pouch for example. Hope this helps to get you started 🤓
I do a lot of redundancy on my edc. On my keys I have a kershaw knife, Gerber curve multi tool. An OLight ir2os. And an edc grappling hook/magnet. I have a baton 3 now edc, I’ve used a SOG escape II for years but switching to a buck 110, I really like that little leatherman multi tool you got there. I also carry the Gerber utility knife when I’m not at work, I use a dewalt knife/utility knife at work as a carpenter. My edc switches depending on what scenario I’m going to be in. I liked this vid🤘🤘
replace stirling engine piston with a magnet, have it attract to the other side to a magnet or metal, use a very very large flywheel and keep the arm close to the middle of the flywheel, give it a 10x the power, (powerstroke) to start the engine and it will have alot of torque and spin indefinitely, put coils on reciprocating arm for A/C, just find the right size coils/wheel/magnet to get the proper herts for A/C
I keep a pretty simple EDC but it works for me. I don't have much on me, but if a need continues to come up. I can always make changes. Thanks for the video brother
The problem with E.M.P. everyone even me after one the technology is going to upgrade and no one is going to say what about iPhone 11 they may just be 5G or who knows 6G technology and all new computer language all together. But it would be nice to have a bag that can keep a cellular phone off grid.
If your hands a really-really cold then you just cant use your thumb with the lighter wheel and it hurts like hell. So i carry stormmatches in winter with my lighter.

A thought for you: I'm a hard-core CZcams scrubber. You might consider putting the time codes of each product in the description. It gives the lazy folks like me a quick way to absorb the info.
@@TheUrbanPrepper yup, the EAB gets better after you break it in though. For the first couple months of owning it i could only open it two-handed, but after i broke it in i could open it one handed which is really nice. good ergos on that knife as well.
Realy cool video clif as ever I have a veriaty of leatherman tools but our UK laws suck as you know mate tried rocking the cs4 it's a love hate relationship hope the s2 not the same as the cs4 tools stupid tight especially the Philips driver but love the capability once u deploy them
Very nice items, curious how long does it take you to load up? Have you ever tested your rfid wallet to make sure it really will protect you. In my cyber security class we did test several and they didn't block the signal.
Not that long at all. Less than 20 seconds. Yes, I've done some basic tests of the RFID wallet with various RFID cards that I have to ensure that scanners can't read them. The HIMI wallet is pretty good.
A few reasons: I'm trying to reduce EMF located too close to my brain. I find them more reliable. They're inexpensive, so when I misplace them it's not the end of the world. I don't have to worry about charging them.

What I'm going to say is pretty paranoid sounding, but given this is a prepping channel it shouldn't be too crazy... You probably shouldn't show your keys on video, someone could potentially copy them.
It's good to avoid drawing attention. When I've tried open carrying someone will come up every five minutes to ask me why, or do I have a permit, etc. When I had a knife with a shiny clip at work, someone visiting from the UK got really nervous and loudly said "isn't that illegal?". Of course it's not illegal but having to explain that is annoying.
I work in an office setting by day. I've found that a wood or color scaled knife does not draw as much attention as a tactical looking black one. Again, I think trying to remain Gray Man in an urban environment is important.

Yeah, it's pretty disappointing. I don't know why they would discontinue this perfect Urban EDC Multi-tool. I sometimes find them on eBay.

Hey, I also have that Gerber EAB :) best utility knife in my opinion and it even saved me from getting jumped by 5 teenagers back in 2019.
