They also kept playing the same games that Lee and Des were sorry at so it was just a competition between Dyl, Mark, and Ben sometimes. This new gauntlet, they have a more efficient rotation of playing old and new games.

You can slow down and reverse with auto acceleration on, since auto acceleration is not an immediate thing, the AI calculates a split second of no conflicting input before triggering auto acceleration, that's why drifting is way easier with auto acceleration on, because the AI calculates the perfect timing to alternate between the handbrake and the accelerator. Auto acceleration and steer are bad but not because they hinder you, they are bad because they give benefits to unskilled players. Dylan being the living proof of that. He was bad at the game until he started using auto acceleration, became top tier with auto acceleration on, and now is complete garbage juice without it again.
