Obsession's lyrics can be interpreted in many ways, the best known is that it has to do with exo storyline; in this video exo faces their evil version of themselves "x-exo" that's why there are many fights in the mv, the good version are the ones dressed in black and the evil ones are the ones who are dressed in colors and crazy makeup (you can see the difference more clearly in these live stages, exo version czcams.com/video/UpooeC0vFHs/video.html , x-exo version czcams.com/video/WLSgbUdXzIY/video.html ). There are also many fans who say that the lyrics may be about sasaengs (extremely obsessed fans that invade idols privacy and even try to harm them)

Obsession is the 1st song/album of EXO in the military enlistment era.. Xiumin and D.O. were the 1st ones to enlist.. its Xiumin's time since he is the oldest but everyone was surprised/debasted when D.O. announced he would enlist early since he is one of the maknae line. But I guess it was all for the best. Only two members are enlisted now, Baekhyun and Chanyeol and two more to enlist by next year Kai and Sehun. They are focusing with their solo careers now.
Glad youâre diving more into EXO and GOT7 theyâre honestly the best thing out of in Kpop, like as an adult these are one of the only groups I vibe with musically
