Still figuring out the correct time to become a full time videographer, so far the 9-5 it's great, but always working hard to make a living out of it.
Such a great episode! Loved hearing Jake's story about going full time and the things to be aware of when making this decision. As two brothers who have wives that have supported us throughout our journey of growing our business I loved hearing how thankful you are for the support you've received. We definitely couldn't continue without them 👌🏼Such a wholesome and meaningful conversation!
I definitely jumped in "full time" before it made any sense, but it gave me the time freedom to really explore it, and I figured out how to make a living through wedding videography and editing for others. Last year I had to pick up a 12 week temp job that was so boring and time consuming, but the money was nice, and this year I picked up a part time job at the gym - It does have odd hours that make it tough to schedule meetings or have nice editing blocks - it's been really nice having some extra income so I'm not worried about how I'm going to eat while I worry about booking the right couples to steer my brand in the right direction.
