The biggest reason for their falls: MONEY. CZcams now demonitizes edgy content, content that attacks other youtubers, and gives ad preference to long form videos. This is the real reason why everyone is doing bland podcasts and safe, politically correct videos (h3h3) or almost no videos at all (idubbz). Money and burnout.

From Leafy, Grade A, Faze, he knows who the top people are. It will all disappear once he gets to old to be hanging out with the younger generation. As long as you are connected with the younger crowd, you will stay relevant.

Honestly, I think Joji got out at the perfect time. It was like the moment he left, that side of youtube fell off a cliff. Now he has a super successful music career and is doing what he likes. I would say he had probably the best fate of any of them.
Keem is honestly pretty fucking cool, he may talk shit every now and again or make a stupid decision, but for the most part he's a force for good on CZcams. He's helped tons of people and improved the quality of the platform in a lot of ways, notably he's helped many people when their channels were taken down, plus he keeps pressure on other controversial figures. He might not be the best person, but he plays the role of villain well, ultimately we're better to have him.

Ian never really did anything wrong, he just supported his girlfriend's goals, all be it unconventional. Joji never really did anything wrong as he just didn't enjoy doing CZcams as much as he used to, explaining his change in career. Ethan is the only one that is in the wrong as he's just a narcissistic hypocritical asshole that only complains about others but fails to have even the slightest bit of ability to reflect on himself and his actions. With LeafyisHere and the whole 'bullying commentary' format dying out, Ethan was forced to change his content. However with his podcasts being stale as shit and his overall persona being very unlikable everyone was quick to notice that this is not the content creator you wanna be identified with, so they dipped out. This led to him incriminating and devalueating every single person who is against is believe by calling them 'haters', which only made things worse.
The thing about Ethan is that he has really poorly researched political takes, that's pretty much it. He already addressed the "hypocrisy" statements in his response video on SOG, one of the last strong commentary channels on the platform. I never watch his podcasts because I hate podcasts as a whole, but even if he came up as an asshole, we can't really tell if he's in or out of character. He still makes pretty good content on his main channel even to this day, keeping his satirical persona and funny interactions with Hela, which made him popular in the first place. The whole Leafyishere drama didn't really affect his channel and calling that genre "bullying" is just too mild, it's satire, people nowadays don't understand good comedy and get offended by literally anything, the context and subtext are crucial and it's better off being left to define by people who are truly dedicated enough to classify these kinds of things, then by the average everyman because we don't have time and we don't care. I also have to point out that most CZcams channels had to come up with new means of entertainment due to the adpocalypse and the copyright system, which is so flawed and broken nearly everyone has to do something different in order to please fans and at the same time earn money, sadly H3H3 clearly didn't do so well in accomplishing both, but that's because it's out of their general boundaries, not because Ethan is a complete scumbag.

in all seriousness though, i think joji knew that the youtube landscape was changing - that he knew his content, which was definitive of how youtube was at the time, wouldn't be viable long-term. hell, #/jojiiscancelled was trending on twitter for a moment because some fans had never heard of filthy frank - which baffles me, but as the immediate response was negative, it only consolidates my point. plus, the whole thing was pretty damaging on his mental health. i think what saved him was choosing to call it quits at the perfect moment - whether he was actually perceptive, just really damn lucky, or he had reached his limit, is anyone's guess. maybe, it's a mixture of all three.

Honestly, I think Joji got out at the perfect time. It was like the moment he left, that side of youtube fell off a cliff. Now he has a super successful music career and is doing what he likes. I would say he had probably the best fate of any of them.

Keem is honestly pretty fucking cool, he may talk shit every now and again or make a stupid decision, but for the most part he's a force for good on CZcams. He's helped tons of people and improved the quality of the platform in a lot of ways, notably he's helped many people when their channels were taken down, plus he keeps pressure on other controversial figures. He might not be the best person, but he plays the role of villain well, ultimately we're better to have him.

Ethan is the only one that is in the wrong as he's just a narcissistic hypocritical asshole that only complains about others but fails to have even the slightest bit of ability to reflect on himself and his actions. With LeafyisHere and the whole 'bullying commentary' format dying out, Ethan was forced to change his content. However with his podcasts being stale as shit and his overall persona being very unlikable everyone was quick to notice that this is not the content creator you wanna be identified with, so they dipped out. This led to him incriminating and devalueating every single person who is against is believe by calling them 'haters', which only made things worse.
Yeah I do agree that Joji never did anything wrong but he is messing up by content iding content talking about his older content.
The thing about Ethan is that he has really poorly researched political takes, that's pretty much it. He already addressed the "hypocrisy" statements in his response video on SOG, one of the last strong commentary channels on the platform.
I never watch his podcasts because I hate podcasts as a whole, but even if he came up as an asshole, we can't really tell if he's in or out of character. He still makes pretty good content on his main channel even to this day, keeping his satirical persona and funny interactions with Hela, which made him popular in the first place. The whole Leafyishere drama didn't really affect his channel and calling that genre "bullying" is just too mild, it's satire, people nowadays don't understand good comedy and get offended by literally anything, the context and subtext are crucial and it's better off being left to define by people who are truly dedicated enough to classify these kinds of things, then by the average everyman because we don't have time and we don't care. I also have to point out that most CZcams channels had to come up with new means of entertainment due to the adpocalypse and the copyright system, which is so flawed and broken nearly everyone has to do something different in order to please fans and at the same time earn money, sadly H3H3 clearly didn't do so well in accomplishing both, but that's because it's out of their general boundaries, not because Ethan is a complete scumbag.

Rather watch/listen to someone's podcast who is more genuine and relatable like Joe Rogan and his guests. The guy is also just not ready for a big podcast and you can tell.
