  • The Class 730s hit the tracks on Monday 13 November on a diagram previously operated by a Class 319. 730007 + 730010 did the honours of working ECS from Camden to London Euston as 5T49. Later working 2T49 to Tring and so forth. I took 2T49.
First impressions is they are a great interior choice. The 730s are also walkthrough trains in between units similar to a Class 387 electrostar. This is in my opinion a very good design choice compared to the Class 720 Aventras which they do not have!
I was joined by ‪@faizul_thetrainspotter125‬ which I thoroughly enjoyed my time on! Check out his channel he’s definitely someone worth watching.
Thanks all for watching and I’ll see you in the next one!

This is not a LNWR Class 730 unit, it is a West Midlands Trains class730 working on a LNWR service of which both companies are owned by West Midlands Trains, West Midlands Railways and West Midlands Trains are two different things, West Midlands Trains is the owning company of LNWR and West Midlands Railways but West Midlands Railways is train services of Transport for West Midlands in Birmingham and the West Midlands
