Great video! Just a quick correction: Toxic Shock Syndrome due to tampons does not have to be necessarily introduced by the tampon itself. Being that S. aureus can live on our skin, it is actually able to be introduced to the vaginal setting that way. The vagina is typically anaerobic, but oxygen is introduced into the environment via the use of tampons - thus allowing the S. aureus bacteria to actually colonize. TTS was a huge issue after the production of incredibly absorbent tampons. The tampons they create today are not longer absorbent past the time when they are in danger of infection. Of course, I'm sure many women still use their tampon past the recommended time and it's smart to put the label so they don't get sued. I'm sure they have definitely bettered the technology for the actual tampons themselves as well. (:

I have been getting recurrent staph boils for 6 months now..its extremely painful and I become crippled as theres no movement till the boil bursts...seen so many doctors but in vain..swab test confirmed staphylococcus aureus..I have just lost hope as its not even getting better..this is such a painful disease!!

This is what worked for me ( not a doctor or professional) neem oil (Azadirachta indica) on a big bandaid kept on for 24 hours x how meany days till it clears up. For me it's 4 days if caught early. Pau D'arco as a tea plus herbal pills 4 pills × 3 times a day till cleared up Neem oil may cause allergic reactions and is hard on kidneys, but is the most effective out of all the oils I've experimented with on my self and boyfriend notice significant improvement. hope this helps 🙏 good luck.
Is it possible to have this bacteria in the throat? Ive been having some mocus stuck in my throat for more than 5 years, so I went to several doctors and Ive been diagnose with Staph Aerus. They gave me some pills for it to take it for 10 days. Didnt worked so they prescribed me some injections for 5 days. unfortunatelly it didnt worked as well. Sometimes this thing in my throat gets worst and I cant even talk. I been reasearching a lot about this bacteria but I just dont see a way out to this problem.. I just dont know what else can I do.. if you guys give me a hand I would really apreciate that... thank you.

Hi @@sertac001 . I know that amoxicillin/clavoulanic acid kills staphylococcus aureus. It's an antibiotic medicine/drug called "Augmentin". But it' s better you must first go to a chemical laboratory to confirm that you are infected by bacteria S. Aureus and you also ask to give you an antiobiogram that it writes down what antebiotic kills that bacteria.

Also, you must take Ciprofloxacin if it is Sensitive according to your antibiogram for about 2 or 3 weeks, and after that, you must go again to a chemical laboratory to check if the S. Aureus was killed. Otherwise, perhaps you must continue another one week to take the same medicine. Also, Augmentin is the trademark of the medicine which contains two substances: Amoxicillin and Clavoulanic acid. If it is not as Sensitive at your antibiogram you must not use it. Perhaps, according to your antibiogram is Resistant, so don't use it. Also, when you take any antibiotic, you must eat every day, 3 times per day, yogurt, and use probiotic, but it's better to ask first your Doctor if your entitled to eat yogurt or use probiotic.

It can metabolize all kinds of sugars (including mannitol), certain lipids (it makes lipases), and urea (it is urease positive), among other things. It is very versatile in what it can metabolize!

I stopped antibiotics all together. I take garlic. U can also try coloidial silver. My doc t it's r useless and missing lead me with blephritis. After 2 yrs I insisted on a swab and itsstaph aureus. So the swab shoulve been done right away or at the most, the 3rd visit but no. Now doc regerred me to opthamologisr.. Now that it's better. Crazy. Guilty conscience.
I’m a 51 year old female that’s 5’9 125 pounds so I’m not over weight. I do have a bone marrow cancer called Polycythemia Vera which affects my immune system, I was just diagnosed with MRSA. The strangest thing is that I’ve never had a Staph infection in my life. The infection is located on my right hand below my knuckle. I have no clue how I got this. I’m taking 1,000 mg of antibiotics everyday. I’m really worried after watching your video if my body is going to have a harder time fighting my Staph infection. This will not only itch but it’s very painful if you do. I’ve had it now for 1 1/2 weeks. I’m seeing a little bit of scaring so I hope it’s trying to heal. Everybody knows the facts of MRSA. What no one shares are treatments. It sounds to me that once you get it, you are stuck with it. It is antibiotic resistant. So what does that leave ? Washing, sanitizers and disinfectants really just mechanically removes some or most of the exposed bacteria. Diagrams and explanations don't have much to offer. Things I'd like to hear are salt water effects and hydrogen peroxide use. Endless explanations don't improve treatment. Understanding the mechanics is nice but not useful.
Ha, nobody knows the facts regarding resistant s. aureus. I'd even like to know when they were able to synthesize methicillin to test against resistant staph. How can you call it MRSA when you can't test against it in a culture and sensitivity? Last I heard it was tested against oxacillin. Proper early treatment is paramount. MDs are clueless and are guilty of undertreatment and try to guess what they're dealing with. Culture and sensitivity should be a mandate on all infectious drainage. If caught early Bactrim (SMX-TMP) has been found to be 100% effective at least in vitro. High doses orally for no less than 3 weeks or shot gun with injectable Bactrim then 2 weeks of oral Bactrim. If allowed to infect for more than 3 weeks the production of toxins need to be considered. Leukocidin is the biggest culprit. Resistant staph can surround itself with leukocidin hide and smolder for years not unlike a fire wall. Last I heard they had some luck with combining Clindamycin and Bactrim and this combo should not be used less than 6 weeks. Resistant staph is fully resistant to Clindamycin but it is used for it's anti-toxin or ability to arrest toxins. Maybe they have come up with a better anti-toxin? There is less than 7% chance of catching this staph in blood culture. Tox screens for leukocidin may indicate it's there and could be used to monitor antibiotic benefit also calcium oxalate kicked out in urine. Resistant staph is hemolytically invasive and can become systemic. The tissues it likes to target are tubal/glandular ends..... so, with all kinds of different strains now, mainly pvl USA300, pvl USA400 and USA500 around, yes it can be treated, but good luck finding an MD with at least half a brain.

My understanding is that S.aureus is not a typical agent of UTI. However, it certainly can occur. Staphylococcus saprophyticus, on the other hand, definitely is a frequent cause of UTIs.
