I always got these vibes when I first listened to this track in Sonic 2's sound test in 2006 (I used to suck at the old Sonic games).

I just came from Siiva's video. Yes, they're similar, but they don't match. This is a mashup of the two songs, while Siiva's reworks Mystic Cave to sound like the Inspector Gadget's theme.

Having the first part of Mystic Cave's melody, and then the "_Inspector--GadGET_ vocal from _Inspector Gadget's Last Case_.
Also, Disney had a website for _Inspector Gadget 2_, which featured a game called _Gadgetmobile Test Track_ (_Spy Hunter_ with Gadget themes). There was a little snippet in there that went "Go, Gadget, Go-Go-Go-Go!" That would work pretty well somewhere in there too.

Strange how I saw my cousin Shane playing this game in summer 1999 while visiting relatives in Missouri and Kentucky. When he got to the Mystic Cave Zone and this music started playing, the first thing that came to mind was Inspector Gadget. Coincidentally enough, that was the summer when the infamous live action film adaptation was released in theaters.

And when they woke up the next day they found they were late for work in a rush to produce the soundtrack for Mystic cave zone They accidentally recreated the Inspector Gadget theme song due to binge watching it. Then one day some kid in masato nakamura's kid's class said " hey this sounds like Inspector Gadget." That kid was Outkast and sent into the nerd pit
