  • Episode: Ghana 🇬🇭
    Yo yo yo what's up guys ? Welcome to Ghana. I got here a few days ago from Ivory Coast. Crossing the border between those two countries was a pretty smooth experience.
    I was very excited to explore Ghana because I've heard a lot of positive things about this country. After crossing the border, I reached Takoradi, which is right next to the beach. I stayed there for two days before continuing my journey to Cape Coast a city filled with history as it was once a slave trading port.
    I literally fell in love with Cape Coast and ended up staying there for 4 days. By the way, I'm slowly reaching my father's country, which means that my African journey is almost coming to an end.
    I am currently working on my Ghanaian videos for my CZcams channel. Make sure you don't miss them!

      I bet local tax or some other form of taxation are collected by the central and local governments in that place. And they go to that same place with their ballot boxes at election time.

    Hello @hayvlogs577, I thought I should ask you and your brethren in Ghana, if you have this very nice slum in Ghana, why do you need to travel all the way to Nigeria to look for Makoko in Lagos. I mean how can you have such a cool slum at home and be more interested and invested in Makoko in Lagos? Well just in case you don't know, there is something equally interesting and touristy in Ghana which should be good for you as tourists/tourists facilitator or whatever. Kofi, home is where the real thing is in abundance.

    Maybe the bridge was a toll booth for bridge? 🤔

    • @alexbanj7a7bc
      @alexbanj7a7bc Před měsícem +1

      I think that *ultra modern* foot bridge was constructed by the central government in Accra but the local government is trying to take control of it. The central government has gone to Ghana's Supreme Court to challenge that take-over bid by the local government. For now, the Supreme Court of Ghana appointed a Trustee to operate and run that ultra modern bridge and collect the toll and deposit the toll collection every year in a special account.

    @Trigger_the_Spirit_man Do you know the 'city' of Accra at all? Do you look at Accra as it is in its very rundown state or through those rose-tinted glasses/ dodgy goggles with which a great many Ghanaians conveniently choose to look at Accra just to cope with their helplessness and disappointment at the sorry and sad state of their 'city'?
