ABC"3" of RAILWAYS : D is for DOUGLAS

A video impression from twenty years ago of the timeless and much-loved Victorian public transport system of DOUGLAS on the Isle of Man. 1993 was declared Year of the Railways and included the Centenary of the Manx Electric Railway. The Steam Railway was 120 years old and the Snaefell Mountain Railway, just to the north of DOUGLAS, was preparing for its Centenary two years later in 1995.
