I have been listening to Jay Chou's original without knowing what was sung about. Just thought the music was so sweet. Now I understand what it is, and boy it is so beautiful. The way he translate it is very brilliant as he tries to mimic the ending of each line with similar sounding English word. It is a great job, and I love the way he sings it. Thank you.

This is brilliant. It is not a direct translation of Qing Hua Ci (which I have been working on as I do English translations of Chinese songs), but your version is beautiful nonetheless. Great great job!
+Lu Lyrics I totally agree, this is absolutely brilliant, although it isn't the direct translation, but it has its' originality yet not losing the majority meaning of the original song, the changes of this translation makes it fit the rhythm more smoothly and adds another feel of beauty into the original music. it's hard to do a direct translate of this song in my opinion because how the lyrics are so complex in Chinese, and it's not easy to tell all of the stories in English within the length given by the rhythm.

I think it is really nice. It manage to catch the spirit of the song,
Indeed if one were to interpret the song directly it would not be able to carry the spirit of the song through. For same metaphors used in the original song would not carry the same meaning in another language / culture.
