Love you videos and the scenery. Keep 'em coming mang!
Glad you like them!
Love your videos, it looks like a great place to ride even if it's hot.. what is the music playing in background? Would be awesome to have it on my playlist while riding here in Montreal
Thanks for watching! The song is Fredagsmys K2 by Henyao
You guys were spot on about the isotonic. Rides feel so much better. I didn't find no creampies either.
That’s great to hear man. Ya those are available on special request only 🤷♂️
Isotonic alone during ride makes me thirstier. At the end I dilute 1:3 for during ride drink.
Great video. I cycled around Singapore as a tourist from Scotland in August 2018 and this brought back some great memories. Although, I was on a Mobike rather than a quality road bike 😂
Glad you enjoyed riding in Singapore (and the video)! I'm sure Scotland's roads and scenery is even better :)
@@thewinsty We have great roads and scenery but not the beautiful weather like Singapore.
The Singaporeans would beg to differ 😂
So what is the verdict on power mirror? Is it much better than a ordinary power saddle?
Nice banters haha great vid!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😄
@@thewinsty open to organize grp rides in the future? 🤔 haha
After COVID!
I got the same sl7 color, i want to change the decal color, hahaha

Hey! May i know what bike your friend's riding? The black colored one with rim brakes. Thanks!
It’s an old model Specialized Allez, cheers
@@thewinsty Nice bike, is not Allez sprint?

We ride home!

I use a GoPro Hero 9, thanks!

@@thewinsty 🤣🤣 thanks bro.. have a good ride
Is your Mirror saddle 143mm or 155mm? Thanks!
It is 143mm
What helmet are you using? Looks awesome
Hi I’m using the Giro Aether Spherical MIPS
Technically you experience hypervolemic hyponatremia when you cycle. Water when it's not isotonic is also poor at re entering your intravascular space. So for every litre you drink you're only replacing about 250ml of liquid lost. Isotonic solutions are much better at replacing that depleted volume.
In dehydrated states it would make sense to be a bit hypovol as well. Yes water is poor for rehydration. Please also feel free to explain how drinking water can suppress thirst reflex even in the context of inadequate hydration (reference to those who say they prefer water because it quenches their thirst while isotonic does not)
@@thewinsty I don't know fully what you're asking in the second part. But from my understanding there's actually not a great answer for that one. The assumption in literature is that your throat has receptors that are able to tell the difference between food and water. When you drink a signal is sent to the brain saying hey dude we're all right we have liquids incoming. You don't need to be thirsty any more. Hence feeling hydrated when in reality you may only have taken in a small volume of fluids. How it pertains to water and isotonic solutions I wouldn't be able to say unfortunately.
