Kunal witnesses two robbers escaping from the society with a bag and a bloody knife. CID arrive to investigate the robbery and find out that a second robbery has taken place in the society, along with a murder. Kunal later reveals to CID that he has a video, from a birthday party, where he is able to recognize one of the robbers from a strange scar on his hand. ACP Pradyuman reaches out to Dhechu for his help in recognizing this scar and finding out the face behind this hand.

CID: Chhote Heroes is a serial that revolves around young children who either witness a crime or are victims of crimes. These children play central characters and often help the CID team of ACP Pradyuman, senior inspector Abhijeet and senior inspector Daya in solving crimes. The trio is often tagged by Inspector Fredricks. The team employ detailed investigation, analysis, and intuition, to zero-in on the criminal.
