Every artist who tries to exploit the needy for validation, Filipino market end up Ruining their Careers. Billy Crawford is a great example. And those American Idol failures... Lea Salongaâs first international album which was produced by Glen Ballard, the producer of Alannis Morisette who works for Madonnaâs company, did not succeed in making Lea a major Pop Star. There was too much Pinoy Pride. The people with money to buy records got tired of the pride rallies.

@@eduardochavacano I kinda notice that too. These fil-foreign celebs end up ruining their careers when they exploit too much on "pinoy pride". Let's be honest we filipino fans in general are toxic and no other fanbase or people would mess with us. Maybe that's the reason why they don't succeed. The only fil-foreign I know that has tremendous success was Bruno Mars and I've never seen him talking about his filipino heritage or being proud pinoy in any interviews and it really shows.
