- Meet the new entry-level kit in the V-Drums Acoustic Design series-the VAD103. Powered by the versatile TD-07 sound module, discover authentic pro-drum tones that’ll put you in the zone the moment you sit behind your kit. This intuitive sound module contains a range of user-friendly features that won’t disrupt your flow. Onboard preset kits allow you to switch up your style from rock to metal to jazz or electronic with the push of a button. Plus, you can edit the presets to create 25 of your own custom kits. Play along with your favorite tunes with wireless streaming from your phone, tablet, or computer. And if you’re looking to sharpen your drumming skills, the onboard Coach offers a range of drumming exercises.
You also get a 12-inch snare and floor tom along with a 10-inch rack tom-all fitted out with Roland’s legendary dual-ply mesh pads for the ultimate playing feel. As for cymbals, a 12-inch crash and 13-inch ride are joined by the new VH-10 floating hi-hat. And since the VAD103 is part of the V-Drums Acoustic Design family, all instruments mount to freestanding acoustic stands. Finally, the large 18-inch kick drum will command attention on the stage or in the studio while also saving space with its slim profile.

SICK, love this kit!!!! Holly Madge smashing it on the drums 🙌🙌🙌
Great kit! My only question is when will this kit finally be available for purchase?
Absolutely love the 18” kick and the other VAD drums on kit. Unfortunately don’t need the TD-07, the 17 or 27 would be much better. 100% want the core of this kit. I really love my double KT-10 pedals, however for this 18” kick I would go back to a BD pedal for this. I have held of on VH-10 not because it’s not good, it plays great, but due to portability. Much easier faster with FD-9 and CY-5 or CY-8.Less gear to carry no HH stand. For this kit I would make an exception and also go with VH-10 with stand because it looks so good.
get the VAD306 then
Awesome kit for the $$, I have a similar set-up but with TD-17 module.
Very good. Please let us know the artist demonstrating the kit. Thanks
Niiice!!
nice kit! i have a td25kv it Rocks
🧡
when is this being released?
If I get bonus will buy this and add it to my DW Kit and make a huge Hybrid Kit
Hey there, is there any way to edit panning?
Does the sound module have an extra port to add another cymbal? For example, if I wanted to add a larger ride and keep the two crash/hats, would I be able to do that?
Yes , you will be able to add a another crash. You got a cable for 2 crashs, 1 ride, and the Hi-Hat!
Can you pair your device without bluetooth? For example, with an eighth or quarter to eighth inch cord?
can you play non-percussion sounds on that set?
can hook to a 2nd tom?
Can you connect Bluetooth headphones to it ?
Can someone please tell me how to use the Bluetooth setting?
I want that roland hoodie

What about getting this kit configured with a second kick pedal? Also, I use BFD3 software and samples and would like to integrate the kit with the software. Is this possible as well?
just get a double kick pedal
@@onomatopoeidia Not sure if my Iron Cobra double-kick pedal will land on the one trigger pad. It looks small. Hmm
@@jrhoads4849 yes it will.
Can I use the TD17 module on this kit?
yes or get the VAD306
Me patrocina roland
Can the sound module be purchased separately? If so, what would it run (approx)?
You can buy td-07 from drum tec
I would recommend td-17 instead, td-07 can not import user samples. And no L/R outputs. I 100% want the drums, use my own td-17/strike module
can we add more cymbals or pads to the module ?
I don't think so. There are no extra trigger inputs for external triggers.
@@marcmadler454 I think the answer should be yes as long as it has capability with a VST or what all
@@biglittle4883 if it has no external inputs for external triggers then the answer is no, we can’t add cymbals or pads to the module
Yess, you have one more cable for a crash.
I have the TD-07DMK. I have three toms, hi hat, a ride, a crash, the snare and the kick pad. There's one extra, unused cable for an extra cymbal or changing the ride to a CY-13R, which needs two cables.
Looking at this kit, the ride cymbal is already using that extra cable. So your option is an extra tom or cymbal. I'd get an extra PDA100 to have a couple of high toms. And probably lose the bell zone and get an extra CY-12C crash.
Does double pedal work?
yes
works with EZ Drummer 3???????
How loud is that comparing to TD non-acustic line ?
It is the same volume when you play it. they are build with the same mesh pads, so it's not louder.
I want his kit, it's wireless, lol

man you gotta duck the audio i can’t hear the voiceover
I don’t understand Roland. 2k for a kit that doesn’t even come with a kick pedal and stands for snare and hi hat. And 2 toms? Joke.
seriously 💀
It’s priced just above their kit with smaller pads.
Would you like to see them put roland pedals and stands with it and pay an extra premium?
3:47 he kinda seemed annoyed by it too, his tongue clicked said what we were all thinking lol
I absolutely love Roland, but their drum sounds are so lacking compared to other options. I wish it weren't so, as they would otherwise be my first choice...
Which options? Yamaha?
Whoever mixed this video should be fired. Can’t hear him talk over the drums 🤦🏻♂️
It's ok, I resigned as soon as I saw your comment.
2 thousand bucks...nah
Yeah there it is. I figured it was way too good to be affordable, but that's the price of quality. Think this one would be worth saving up for? Feels like a nice kit
@@biglittle4883 Likely you'll never use it at a gig - and if you did, how many gigs does it take to break even at $2K? Just slap some piezos on your current set (or anything playable) and buy a used drum module.
how many cymbals you break?
ZERO😂😂
Efnote 3 is better. Better sounds.
50 years of tradition vs. 1 year… mmmmmhhhh
