The sounds of that whistle we're like a magical magnet that brought people to the depot which was the Social Circle of the day. It meant your goods were going to markets you were getting your mail or item you ordered from the catalog and could also get you to the big city. Thank goodness Cass is still here to portray those important days that built the USA
*Amazing❤️🙌Being able to provide all my needs without the help of the Government is really a dream come through and I’m getting $50,000 returns from my 10k investment, Glory to the everlasting God almighty.*
Quite impressive but HOW!!?😊 I know it's possible, my colleague at work always get 40K every week, I would appreciate if you show me how to go about it.
After I got up to $300k trading with Mary Margaret Schimweg i bought a new House and I'm now able to send my kids to a better school in the states thanks to her. When someone is straight forward with what he or she is doing people will always speak up for them.
The Iron Horse kicked off the industrial revolution! Transportation was starting to speed up faster than the speed of a horse, which was the norm for the last thousand years. Steam locomotives were the beginning of the railroads we know and love today.
We saw Sparks flying out under that first steam engine locomotive awesome shot..cool. 😊 Wow six more and blowing their whistles. Cool stuff. You got some great videos. What magic thanks. Made our day. Yes ! 😅 Chessie sure got her a good play partner when you brought home that puppy. Made our day. Love this Thanks and have a blessed day! 😊
Your capture of Shay #2 shoving the tourist train up the mountain was beautiful, Jw Tooth! The four Shays and the Heisler huffing and puffing with their whistles blowing from the station area to the water tank was a beautiful scene. I look forward to your additional videos from your trip to the Cass Scenic Railroad.
Many memories from my youth. Parents took us to ride the train to the top of Spruce Knob or Bald Knob (forgot which one) in 1969/1970. We camped south of threat Anthony Creek (close to White Sulfur Springs) for our vacation. We would venture back several more times until over the years. The Heisler locomotive came from the Meadow River Lumber Company and probably was still in use in the 1970s.
Awesome video JT. Even my wife enjoyed it. She can take or leave trains but she came up behind me and looked over my shoulder just as "The Money Shot" was started and said that it was Sooooo Cool. She even stayed to watch the rest of the video. Thanks.
It's really scenic, indeed! Beautiful done JT! More videos like that please. It's a nice summertime activity. The only thing missing?🤔 A good old All American BBQ with a juicy steak on the grill, a couple of cold beers friends and family....make my day JT!😂👍🥩🥓🍖
FOUR Shays and a Heisler?! Love the shot of the maintenance area at the end and the very first run by with the single Shay pushing up hill - that engineer had some whistle skills. Love it. Thanks for the vid sir.
Awesome video JT. Love the sound of a steam whistle, there is nothing better and those 5 locos in a row, with full smoke, steam and a whistle was definitely the money shoot just amazing. Thanks so much for capturing this.
Always enjoy the steam engines! Your money shot was the best! All 5 together with all their smoke and steam...love it!! I sure do enjoy watching those pups play, too! Love your channel Jawtooth!
This is one of the best video ever made, never knowing that the steam trains are still in existence, I really loved the steam engine no.9 with the small drive wheel acts like a piston, thanks again for the lovely video jawtooth👍❤
I love shays, it's what I model bot standard and narrow gauge but I hate when cass hooks them all together and they all whistle at the same time. It's like playing multiple orchestras at the same time , the beauty of the sound of a Shay is drowned out and ruined. One shay clacking by with it's whistle in the woods can make my heart jump for joy.
Awesome! I hope he likes it. I am home for a couple days and this weekend I will be in Strasburg, Pennsylvania filming Thomas The Tank Engine. He is a steam engine that I am going to film on Saturday and Sunday. It is a long drive!
Brother, you should have been on board with my wife and I some years back, we were coming back in and when the whistle began for that crossing it was drowned out by one of our jet fighters. He turned and burned right over top of us and everyone aboard began shouting USA USA USA! And then I said loudly, "How could ANYONE ever vote Democrat again?!" Some people were triggered, but most were laughing... my wife scolded me for that one 😅😅😅
A huge thanks to those responsible for restoring/maintaining those locomotives for future generations to see and appreciate.

Now, this is why I like Jawtooth videos - going places I can't get to in HD. And a little bit of that government commentary which is nice.
The Shay locomotive is one of my favorite steam engine.
Me too. They are fun to watch
Love the trains on this channel
@D9 you could say that again.
Merci beaucoup pour cette très belle vidéo ! 👍
Cass is a beautiful and awesome place to see trains!
I love the sound of the whistle nothing can compare to it
Not even the loudest EMD Prime Mover

Was there a couple years ago. Great ride - well worth the trip.
Thank you Jaw Tooth 😊
Oh mercy! That horn is awesome! Love it!
@sms4925 So do I
Now 5 steam engines in one lashup is incredible! I don't think I could take the whistles all at once, but now we just need the coal train to pull :)
Awesome video JT. Love the sound of a steam whistle, there is nothing better and those 5 locos in a row, with full smoke, steam and a whistle was definitely the money shoot just amazing. Thanks so much for capturing this.
When there are 5 engines on a hill, one of the engines couldn’t handle the whole train
Fantastic video JT! Amazing historical technology!

Great video. I look forward to more. Thank you ❤

4:20 The crazy party begins 🚂
So what does Norfie think of the new pup?
One of those steam engines come from rainelle West Virginia from Middle River lumber company it used to be the world's largest hardwood lumber company
Meadow River lumber company oops
Looks like loki and chessie are best pals
Whoa that's one weird looking steam engine
4:23 can you still hear?
Plumes of smoke: That will take care of the mosquito problem
👍
What’s the new dogs name please ❤
That looks like one of those logging locomotives
Yes, these are logging locos
Now I know were the hide the "shay" steam engines
Malamang hindi sila nauubusan ng mainit na tubig para makapagkape
they would have to keep the boilers fired up just to maintain steam pressure from constant whistle blowing.
I always wondered how much pressure the whistles take
That parade of five locomotives: not EPA-approved. 😏
Hey JT. Im studying for applying for a job at Amtrak in a few years. I will let you know when I apply and maybe get accepted
that would be awesome! Let me know and I will film your train. lol
I will. The closest station is in Rensallear (Albany NY)
Is # 9 a Climax or Heisler?
off topic. what kind of dogs are the new puppy and Chessie? That puppy is so cute and no tail?
The new puppy, Loki, is an Australian Shepherd and Chessie is Beagle and Blue Healer mix
