    Big thanks for these tutorials, i also watched the trans oil change in addition to this. Just as a note, the 307 that i was working on had somewhat of a "weird" transmission casing. The drain plug was on the side of the casing like it is on some other 307s i've seen rather than in the front side like in this video. But the fill plug was about where it is on your car and the venting hole had just a plastic cap that pulled off instead of threaded plug. Got the job done though, was a bit easier than i first thought.

    My front wheel does not have the hole so you have to remove the bearing Nutt with the wheel off. To do this I tried it in gear but then changed my mind so I put an Allen key into the disc and had it against ythe calliper with a scaffold bar to undo it

    Nice demonstration.. I have a right-hand drive version.. I believe the shafts are similar to the left-hand version you're using in the video? I'm abit confused.

    Brilliant Videos, I have acquired 307 2003/4 not sure of the engine capacity buts its been well refurbished, however when I turn on the A/C the temperature shoots up to the red, Please any ideas on the cause?

    • @isitfixedyet891
      @isitfixedyet891  Před 6 lety

      Hi Sulei,
      Sounds like cables or panel malfunctioning. Can you regulate the temperature at all or is it only in the auto mode? If the second one, it can also be the temperature sensor.
      I would start from checking the cables with multimeter.
      Cheers!

    Are these seals actually on the gearbox it's self and would it be better to change them if replacing a gearbox . Before replacement box goes bck in

    Can this cause abs failure?
    As my abs lights turns on above 45 50mph,.and works normally if i switch car off and on again and its making a clunk noise from that side
    Clunk clunk sound while breaking with abs on, and no clunking when abs deactivates and warning light on in dash.

    The left hand side was a nightmare for me the drive shaft itself won't go all the way in the right hand side was easy the left for some reason I have a gap between the gearbox/seal to the driveshaft of about 10mm the old one sat a lot closer but its not leaking oil maybe it because it was not a oem part

      Which model are you working on. The left hand side drive shaft does not have a inner circlip. It's held in with a spring that is inside the garter.

      If the shaft came out easily after removing the hub it doesn't have a clip
