NED , im very proud of u man - DAN FLAVIN was the first man that i worked for after leaving school - he was a tractor man back in 1984 and i gave up an engineering university place to go driving tractors !!! mam went nuts - only 2 people in ireland called me buddy - my dad and dan - i could tell u some stories about danny flavin - i spoke to him a short while before he died - he said to me ; " buddy, look after yourself . i dont want to see u for a long long time" -- ive been thru some pretty tough times but dan keeps me going - THANKS NED for the video , and im a lorry man myself but moved to london many moons ago -- im home now ,2 miles from dans resting place and having to start all over again , but u r a great support to me - maybe some day u could give me some advice please ?

Been watching your videos for some years now. You give great insight into the life of a trucker. I myself one in England, love your straight to the point of how it is and professionalism while sometimes having to deal with shite. The reason I'm commenting on this video is I have never watched this one for some reason even though it is a fair few years old. Also I have to thank you. I haven't heard 'second violin' the song you have playing over is for a long long time and had completely forgot about it. And to be fair the band. Definatley a cracking band!! Anyway thanks and stay safe

Cheers mike well for you doing part time
Didn’t know Fleming had kicked the bucket. They weren’t very nice to poor old Declan Reid when he called in after he finished up driving
From what I heard they ran him;(

Ned, great videos. Just wondering if you have any photos of the old Stena boat on the Dublin/Holyhead route. The one with ramp inside in the boat that kept ripping the rubber spray suppression mats off the back crash bars on all the fridges. I started driving in 1998 and have no photos of back then. Pity. Would love to have some of the lads and lorries from back then.
