What a (hi)story! Here in Bosnia we also experienced conversio but to Islam from christianity (we had our own Bosnian church) and that was not forcible (that act is also described as a sin in the Quran) and we are remained muslims till this day. Alhamdoulillah. This channel is a gem.

Bonsoir Paloma c'est toujours avec un grand plaisir que je visionne tes vidéos, où on apprend énormément. Figure toi que je suis de Tlemcen ville se trouvant à l'ouest algérien. Cette ville a accueilli un grand nombre de morisques ainsi qu'une grande communauté de juifs fuyant les persécutions de cette époque. A la fin de ton reportage, une plaque indiquant l'entrée d'un quartier où est inscrit le mot '' alcaiceria'' m'a interpellé. En effet nous avons exactement la même appellation pour un quartier où se trouve de nombreux bazars et magasins à Tlemcen qui date de plusieurs siècles !!
