This car is getting hate because people would rather hate than be positive. Most newer cars are no more unreliable than the cars we had from the 60s to today. The difference is the amount of tech in them now is so much more. And it’s harder to be a shade tree mechanic in newer cars, because everything is controlled by a computer. Heck, in 1993 I purchased a brand new pickup from a major manufacturer. The paint literally started peeling off the body the first week I had it. They repainted, under warranty, but it still flaked off. Paint guy finally found that the body wasn’t prepped properly at the factory. The company bought it back from me. A coworker purchased a brand new 1988 coupe. Again another major manufacture. Within 6 months the motor went out, had less the 3K miles on it because we both had company vehicles and our cars stayed parked and covered. The manufacture dropped a new motor in it under warranty. Plus gave him a rental for the two weeks it was down. I won’t name the manufactures as I have heard similar stories from all the brands.

Goofy jacked up stance, badge engineering, only 268 hp when you can just go buy a 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT with the same quarter mile time, quicker 0-60 time, and higher top speed. Like how do you make a vehicle that only does 140 mph but you got a Dodge Neon doing 155 mph? The fuel economy is not even good on this thing. This is nothing but a taller Dodge Dart….which was another car that didn’t do anything better than its competitors. And why is the screen so small? You get a bigger one in the Dodge Dart. This car is already getting recalled and it only sold 9000 units in the first year. Obviously this truck is doing terrible. TFL did a review on it and the Transmission blew on the first day.

The transmission didn't blow up in that TFL video at all....error codes got tripped and that was it and Dodge invited TFL to show them what went wrong and that other suv's did the exact same thing in the conditions of that horrible TFL test.

If you think about it Dodge has three Vehicles...the Charger, Challenger, and Durango...there is no "small SUV". Dodge was trying to provide an entry level sport utility vehicle at Alfa Romeo's expense Lmao!

The Durango is the only true American made Dodge, however depending on the engine choice, still made in Mexico. A customer coming in to look at a Hornet won't really give a shit where it's made or who designed it.
