@@skoopercantdraw Nah, didn't seem like it. I went into the DLC blind, playing it the minute it released. I wasn't gotten by the fake knockout, because I remembered about the snail, and being able to deal damage to it.
Fun fact: If the normal mode chef saltbaker is already hard, in expert mode, HE KNOWS WHAT MOVE TO USE AND AT WHAT TIME

Tbf it’s pretty easy. Only the first phase is hard because it’s just bullet hell like every other dlc boss. The rest of the phases aren’t that bad

me and my cousin were playing this when it came out, he lives in missouri and i.... dont, but he was over and my house. we stayed up until midnight working on defeating the moonshine mob and parrying eachother over and over again. It was miserable, but when that knockout screen showed... it was like a glimpse of heaven in a game of hell.

@@namenicky996 I would swap them, the brothers as chaotic good while chalice is chaotic neutral, after all she called them over with no elaboration and tricked them into eating the cookie. As rambunctious as the brothers are, they are still good at heart, remember that at the end they burn all the other contracts by their own volition, they could've just left and the game just not addressing that detail as well, but they did the right thing, also they risked their souls to fight the devil rather than finish the deal.

Choc actually got the secret boss combination by purely guessing, a 1 in 504 chance

Alright, so considering that Choctopus died 265 times in the basegame, and died 458 times in the basegame + DLC, that means that he died 193 times in the DLC alone.

Plus $8 for it? That's very fair compared to what most dlcs charge nowadays for less content. For this dlc to have a bunch of bosses, a new character, powers ups, and parrying minigame section, they were generous

The boss I struggled the most with was Mortimer Freeze. I managed to get an S rank on both Esther Winchester and The Howling Aces. If you don't shoot the flying dogs in the second phase for a period of time, a secret third phase will be unlocked where they throw explosive pineapples at each other.
I think by ignoring chalice’s invincible dash you actually made this run even harder than if you played as cuphead lmao
Choctopus is probably the first person I've watched and talk about Saltbaker killing the ingredients.

22:44 I feel like Mugman is Lawful Good since they didn’t want to gamble and they try to help Chalice along with them being very good natured.
I feel like Chalice is chaotic good since she is a very tricky but is a good person at her core, even more so how she didn’t want to have to sacrifice a soul for her to be real again.
Cuphead is a chaotic Neutral since they are a bit of a wild card but isn’t really the best person since they gambled Mugman’s soul without his permission and doesn’t seem the most caring. However, he definitely isn’t evil.
Eh I feel like cuphead is more suited for chaotic good since he literally gambled away him and mugman's soul but he did defeat the devil. I'd say miss chalice is lawful neutral since she never does anything condiderably good I'd agree with you and say that mugman is lawful good since he is the kind natured brother of the two and never really does anything bad

What do you mean "never does anything that aren't her own motives?" She sacrifices the wondertart that would make her permanently stay alive (until she dies at least) just to keep her friends' souls in tact. She doesn't even hesitate either because she wants to keep them safe.

As a player who has all the achievements in this game and completed it on expert, hear me out:
The DLC was great and it was worth the wait. That is all I have to say.
Besides the final boss, the boss that I had the most trouble with Esther. She really makes you feel the movement limitations of the plane.
Favorite boss was the Aces. Challenging as hell, but also really fun to overcome and crazy in a way the other bosses didn't hit as much for me.

While I'm sure there are other Snoopy flying games, I believe the one Choc's referring to is Snoopy vs the Red Baron. It was basically like Star Fox, but you fought in more open areas, and you even had to use Woodstock for some of the bosses. I owned it myself on the PS2, and I remember it being really hard and only getting to the driller boss, never beat him. Also, the soundtrack was absolute fire for a Peanuts game.
I had a lot of fun with that game and I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers it.

For my hardest boss, that has to go to the Howling Aces, that gimmick at the end really messed me up. Also I know you will probably get this a lot, but there is a secret phase to that boss.

Weeks prior to the actual moment, I had a little vison of myself crossing the street when a green van zoomed down the block during the last moments of a yellow light. The vision ended before I could get hit but at the time I brushed it off. Fast forward to seconds before the moment, I pick up on key moments from the vision, specifically a conversation I heard from a small distance away and stopped myself. I want guess it'll be about 150 deaths. If only because you started out as Ms Chalice and somehow didn't know she had different moves.
You should've tried to get the Divine Relic. To get it, you have to clear that secret boss to get the Cursed Relic, then beat 7/10 bosses with the Cursed Relic equipped. (I had to beat 10, but everyone says 7) It lowers your health to 1 and randomizes your weapon and Charm every time you stop shooting, dash, or use any Super cards. It does also restore 1 HP for every three parries you get and the mini bosses from King Dice all count as individual bosses. Basically, any boss that has a Knockout screen counts and for doing that, you get the Divine Relic, which has the exact same effects as the Cursed Relic, but without the health penalty. Both Relics also change the overworld music, so its worth going for.

Play Cartoon Network punch time explosion xl next please. It’s basically smash bros but with Cartoon Network characters cartoons, there is also a story mode in it. I dare you chocopus to play punch time explosion story mode on hard mode. 😈
I haven't beaten the DLC yet, but I think it's safe to say that the boss roster is overall easier than the bosses in the main game. I was able to beat all but two of the bosses in less than 2 hours. No joke. The only bosses I didn't beat yet are the, cowgirl plane one, most because I suck at the airplane shooter levels, and the final boss, because of obvious reasons.
The Giant boss was the easiest, as I beat him on my first attempt. The other fights did take a bit longer and some trial and errors, and the chess bosses were somewhat challenging, especially the fight against the Knight, but overall, they were fairly easy compared to the original bosses in Cuphead.
(Update: I actually beat the Delicious Last Course story in about 3 hours. Matter of fact, I was able to beat that mode before beating the main game. I was still stuck on the fight against Dr. Kahl's Robot.)
