    Best technique I've ever seen for making an hour-glass block! Thank you. The green back is an excellent choice for a quilt that will be laid on the grass for a picnic, etc.

Luckily, I usually order my charm packs in groups of 4, as that's usually the number you need to make a nice-sized quilt... like this one.     I just used this metod for a scrap quilt using all of my scrap 5in squares! This was so easy. And Ibused my clealry perfect slotted trimmer to square all the completed blocks to 6in. Fast and easy. LOVE this. Thank you so much Jenny for another fast project. Although my scraps do not seem to have lessened any this was still an amazing venture. Hahaha

    Oh my gosh how easy is this! I love MSQC tutorials. I do have a suggestion. Use a vacuum cleaner wand to run over the edges of any precuts with pinked edges. It cuts the fabric fray down and it won't be so dusty. Thank you Jenny and everyone for all the time and effort you put into each video. You make us better quilters.

    Okay, Jenny! This is another quilt that I'm putting in my que! Thank you for being the very best teacher ever!! When I first got married 25 years ago, I purchased a quilting book through a book club and it was always my dream to learn to quilt. Kids came and the years got busy, but ten years ago, I found you and you helped my dreams come true!     Thank you so much Jenny. I was about to do the Harmony quilt until I saw all of those quarter square triangles. In looking for another way to tackle them I came across this video. I was able to cut 2-1/2 in strips. Did strip sets to do the 4 patch and was done in no time and didn't have to try to manage trying to sew all of those bias edges. THANK YOU AGAIN

    Looks fun! If you wanted a traditional hour glass layout you could just make the two four patch blocks with alternating darks and lights, and using 4 charm packs means you could even use the exact same prints in the blocks.

    OMGoodness Jenny... I went and played with this after i saw the tutorial. I discovered you can use a 21/2 strip set a a 5"charm. It turned out pretty good. I can't remember how to post pictures from my phone or camera . I would have liked to share it with you. but I'm sure you can figure it out. You are so inspiring my Friend, TY Jenny God Bless

    I tried this with 2 white and 2 print block 4 patches (every other one print) and when I put them face down, put colors on white and white on colors. When I cut them I got cool hourglasses like your Ohio Star quilt. I got 4 at a time, which makes it go faster.
