- Tanque Verde Falls is a beautiful hiking location for all ages in Tucson, Arizona. The trails are kid friendly and pets are welcome as well. This is definitely a great day hike that will give you a great workout as well as a great experience. This trail will also offer different experiences throughout the year depending on the weather.

Id hiked that trail to and from on June. 21, 2021. "Nude hiking day" planning on a last day of summer 2022.

That trail is very nice, but please be very careful. I took a nasty fall there two years ago. The rocks can be slippery and there's no good place to land.

Nice introduction to the trail though I don't remember any information about how long the trail is and how long it takes to hike to the bottom and back
We just went to the immediate bottom. It was only around a half mile hike down. This go further back into the falls it's about a mile more of rock scrambling to get there. Not a bad hike at all!
It's about 30-35 minutes in. Slow pace. Watch your footing tho
