    Great review mate, I bought this model last year for my bug out bag. You’re 100% correct, The beam profile is a perfect balance of flood and throw while giving impressive run times.
    Good job!

    I went on vacation last weekend and left my TK35UE at the hotel and they said they didn’t find it. Loved that light so I think I’m gonna upgrade to this point be now

    Just bought one because it's really the only thing in the category that is actually dustproof as well as waterproof. I really wish that Fenix would have upgraded the TK35 to the same 21700 battery type with a USB C charge port - I like the TK35 better and it's more sensible but no USB C and 18 series is a deal breaker. A 5K lumen 3 emitter TK35 with the runtime of dual 21700's would be perfect.

      I agree 100% the TK35 with 21700 batteries and the USB C charging port would be the perfect all around flashlight!

    I might be ignorant to this but how can this run 10000 lumens for over and hour? At what time dose it drop off due to heat? Any other flashlight I’ve looked at will say X amount of lumens on turbo for X amount of minutes then step down to a lower lumens.

      @alexmartin1430 Před 2 lety +3

      No way it'll run 10k lumens for very long maybe a few minutes. Your correct

    Gets HOT on turbo, like start paper on fire hot so be careful when you put it down. Powerhouse of a light.

      @Studat Před 3 lety +1

      I sold mine as it got way to hot to turn off without gloves. Olight Marauder 2 was its replacement.

      @@Studat My Klarus G20 at 3000 lumens actually puts out a much better light. I was thinking about the Marauder but I bought the Warrior X Turbo to try the long throw instead. Very nice.

      @@tomwilliams8675 The Marauder has a very long throw, 800 meters. I will check out your 3k light, thanks for the tip

      @@Studat I wanted to check the Warrior X Turbo specs before I got backto you, @ 1100 lumens it's got 1000 meter throw. In my hand it's a nice simple light, no complicated controls. Low, high, on off. Great beam. 👍👍👍🤝🤝

      @Mike Byrne mate, there is hot then there is hot. this was HOT... my 14,000 lumen Marauder 2 is much more controlled in regards to temp

    i prefer the Olight switch types, long press to shift brightness and click to switch on/off.. double press for turbo..

    50 lumens as an ultra low is way too high, 1 to 3 lumens is perfect for close up work and not disturbing other people. This light gets way to hot on turbo and it would have been nice to have a 6000 lumen mode. I sold mine unfortunately.

  • @meFatuations
    @meFatuations Před rokem

    Fenix is deceptive. Sure you can run the flashlight in Turbo mode for over an hour. But in the first few seconds, the lumen output is automatically reduced to 3,000 lumens. So in reality, you can only run Turbo mode for 30 seconds or so. Like I said, very deceptive. The reviewer should have done his homework.
