📒 Lord Ganesha's original name is Ganpati. In Sanskrit, Gana means group, and Pati means Lord which signifies that Lord Ganesha is the lord of the entire groups and collection of living beings on the planet. It is said that due to our ignorance, we start believing ourselves to be different from the cosmos. When we face difficulties and stress, we feel ourselves to be completely alone. And, when we pray to Lord Ganesha, he removes those obstacles and makes us feel one with him; feel one with the entire cosmos.
