Women are used to looking at the person they are speaking to, so they turn their heads to look at them. Men do not. Watch for this anytime you see a woman driver or ride with a female passenger. I'm not being a sexist pig (at least I hope not), but I'm just pointing up a truth.
I'm certainly not criticizing just to be a jerk, but I'm pointing out why women, more than men, and as "pilots in command" will find it more difficult to adjust to ..."being in the pilots seat."
So, here, I would have gone for as much altitude as I could get. :D Just in case. :D
