    Ingredients:
    4 cups cubed russet potatoes
½ teaspoon canola oil or olive oil
    ½ teaspoon kosher salt
    ½ teaspoon paprika
    ½ teaspoon garlic powder
    ½ teaspoon onion powder
    Directions:
Scrub potatoes and dry well. Dice into ½ inch to ¾ inch cubes.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the potatoes with the oil and seasonings to coat evenly.
Spread the cubed potatoes out evenly in the basket or trays of the air fryer. Cook for 10 minutes at 400 degrees and remove the basket and give the potatoes a good shake so that they evenly cook. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
If your Air Fryer uses a tray and not a basket, there is no need to stop the cooking process to shake the potatoes. Instead roast for 18-22 minutes at 400 degrees.
    Serve as desired.

Literally thank you so much for mentioning the tray air fryer. No one ever mentions them :( you're so sweet & mindful! 💜

If you have a tray it will take 20 mins but I have a basket so it's only 10mins... Afterwhich you toss them and put them back for another 10mins... 🤣

Always on the look out for easy air fryer recipes without a dozen herbs etc. I wonder if I could mix up regular and sweet potato cubes with carrot pieces as well.

Hi Nigel! The cook time is slightly different, but close enough that you should be able to do it! I would be sure to cut everything into equal cubes.

I have a very basic Go Wise Air Fryer. It is not fancy, but has been going strong for me for 2 years. Here is the model on amazon (affiliate link) for you: amzn.to/3o8EEB6

The recipe is for 20 minutes, shake the potatoes after 10 minutes and continue to cook for another 10.

I have chopped onions (the dry bottled one from Costco), can I use this instead of onion powder??

I followed this recipe to the T, BUT I halved everything. Cooked for 10 minutes then stirred the potatoes and cooked for the second 10 minutes. REALLY overcooked. It occurred to me I should have cut back on the cook time since I was cooking only two cups. I know how all air fryers are different. Mine seems to cook everything really fast. I guess I am just looking for confirmation that you cut the cook time when halving recipes. Thank you Kristin!

If you know your air fryer cooks things fast and you are halving the recipe, I would cook the potatoes for 8 minutes, stir and then check after 5 minutes and every 1-2 minutes after until done. Once you know the timing that works for your air fryer, it should work perfectly.

Hey there! If you read my bio you will see I have Cystic Fibrosis. My body is unable to process fat and protein and works extra hard just to function. Even with a feeding tube, I would be skinny

I guess I should say thank you?! I mean I am glad you enjoyed the recipe, but it does hurt to have your natural voice criticized. Some things are better left unsaid.
