I wasn’t expecting such a character ✨ haha
Oh look Stig uploaded! I was just about to go into life saving heart transplant surgery, but that will have to wait!
Gotta put everything on hold when a Stig Shift comes out
The heart can wait, first watch me pull out the soap dispenser from the toilet 🤣🤣🤣
@@StigAviation don't worry, I no longer needed one after watching the video. It cured me 🤣
Good day Stig, Please show how you check te brake pads' status at the wheels of the plain. Thanks, we learn so much at your good adventures. Braam from South Africa.

This is a man that loves his job. Thank you for sharing 👍🏾
My pleasure. Thank you for being here and enjoying.
Makes me feel safe knowing the people who keep the planes from falling out of the sky love what they do and are diligent about doing it.
@@zk9058 You'd hate to see my coworkers.
As an FO in Europe on the a320 family, it’s absolutely fascinating to see the work that goes on behind the scenes. You guys are truly the unsung heroes of aviation and I’m absolutely loving your videos - keep it up!!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it and thank you for being here and enjoying.
I feel most line pilots would benefit from your videos Stig…I smell a biz opportunity
Thanks! ))
You should see what we do in heavy maintenance then 🤣

My wife doesn't like when you upload new videos because I'm worthless for the next 45 minutes.😆 Thank you Stig. Keep them coming.
Tell the wife I’m sorry, I’ll make it up by posting a shorter video next week 😅.
What a reply! So very funny but well said.
POV: You find this video at 2:30 AM... Instead of sleeping.
Get some sleep, the video will still be here in the morning. 😅
Watching this durning my lunch at an A&P school, Thank for the motivation!
Keep up the good studies Sergio, you’ll be doing this one day
As an avgeak and mechanic myself ( A 320 & A 330 families ) in Germany i really like that filming. I really know the Boeing fleet and i flew with every type except the 707 but i never ever worked on one. I only flew with them as a passenger. Last was a 77W. Great filming. 👍
Thank you very much Niko. Glad you enjoyed it
Great videos. Sorry for your dad, I know also what we feel inside for years. Keep up the good work and greetings from Italy.
Thank you very much. And I appreciate you being here.
@@StigAviationkeep the great videos coming pal & be safe out there.
Really enjoying your videos. I am a retired Shift Manager/licensed Senior Reactor Operator in a nuclear power plant. Your explanations of various systems, and the complexity (or simplicity) of various system designs is great. The average passenger does not care for what goes into their flight, but only are concerned about what they will get to eat or what the movies are on the planes. I, on the other hand, devour each of your videos. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much Mark and I 100% agree with how you see aircraft, I do the same thing. We can all agree that aircraft are beautiful but in my mind, it extends beyond the aesthetics, in my mind it transcends into the engineering aspect and how it work. Why it work and how I fix it. When I say “marvel of Engineering” I mean exactly that. Absolutely incredible
Nothing’s better than having dinner while watching Stig Aviation new vid!
What did you have for dinner? 🍽️
I do the same
Hey Stig, don’t worry, you are fine as you are, don’t hesitate to talk to us. Your show is my program while eating breakfast, right before I go to work, every morning you upload :) thank you so much

I work part time as a ramper. Worked a mid today and what do I do when I'm at home winding down? I watch this!!! Subscribed. I too love my work and I'm here because I want to learn more. I'm also at a much smaller station so getting to see how it goes at LAX (one of my favorites for efficiency) really makes me happy. Thank you for doing what you're doing. You know your license hold forever. You are grandfathered into it. You can always come back and work on jets.
Man this channel recently came into my recommendations and I am binging all of these episodes! Love all of the little nuggets of information you throw in everywhere and the way you promote safety. Makes me feel even safer flying knowing people like you are there before and after the flight.
Thank you so much for being here Alex, I’m glad you’re enjoying it, don’t hesitate to ask questions.
Actually! I do have a question. I notice a lot of the planes use the Air X tires by Michelin. Does the tire manufacturer just have some sort of agreement with Boeing/Airbus for their planes?
@@AlexM2299 Michelin is not the only tire manufacturer that has aircraft tires, Goodyear and Bridgestone also make aircraft tires. It just depends on which aircraft it’s used on. Majority of airbus tires use Michelin, the 737 likes to use Goodyear, 787 likes to use Bridgestone.

I started watching these with amazement. Working in refinery maintenance you have given me appreciation for our work. Even if nobody else does.
Stig,
No truer words have been spoken about finding a job to get paid for what you love to do. I think in another life, there would be a pretty good chance I'd work in aviation. Unfortunately there is only so much time we have on this planet, so it's important we do it doing something we love and helping others along the way. Thank you for allowing us to live your job through your videos.
Thank you for being here and enjoying it alongside with me. I appreciate you.
Love love the video Stig! Never gets old listening to your banter.
Oh btw you are right if you love your job it is not work. Just like I love my museum. 😊

Brilliant again, isnt it amazing, not that long ago we were swinging in the trees , eating bananas and catapillars and now we build miracles called airoplanes. Mind boggling.
It’s amazing what mankind can do when it’s for the betterment of ourselves and the world.
Several video's in so far, I just want to say, you're my favorite mechanic in the whole world. I first fell in love with the way you went over everything, on these magnificent and beautiful planes. Thanks, will do! I appreciate you being here
Thanks for sharing Stig, always enjoyable!
My pleasure!
I know that we are getting an abbreviated view of what you do, and I am loving it.
Question... I know that each plane is different, but how long do you actually work on each plane.
Depending on how much ground time the aircraft has, most aircraft that come in on a turnaround have at least 45 minutes to an hour, that’s my timetable to do my inspection and walk around
Wow, not a lot of time. Great work on the videos, loving every one.
you just might be the coolest man in the world
Far from being cool. I’m just a wrench 🔧
Love what you do so much Stig! 😍🥰 Keep sharing the love and being nice - love it!

Im happy I found this channel, You guys are the unsung heros, thank you for all the hard work and the cool videos. Be well man
Thank you so much, I appreciate that and I appreciate you being here
I have thousands of hours flying Boeing(737-400/500) and Airbus(A320/321 and A330) and when i came off the 737 i never thought id like Airbus but now id never go back.
They're a much more modern aircraft with a way bigger cockpit, the comfort of no control column and the luxury of a tray table to work and eat on!
It’s a very lovely aircraft for maintenance as well. Very user friendly and less cluttered when it comes to troubleshooting issues.
@StigAviation So reliable as well.I can remember many delays and cancellations when I flew the 737 but the Airbus is ultra reliable. And once you get the hang of flying it,it's a great airplane to land in heavy wind.
Keep up the great work,I love your enthusiasm!
Stig, are the engines specific to a right side engine or left side engine or can an engine be mounted on any side? You would think it would be specific but it would make sense if they were universal. Just curious, thanks.
This is a very great question Rick, yes, engines are interchangeable from left to right.
@@StigAviation Thank you !
Love it! Good to see your perspective on things from your MIA 737 CA palm tree pilot! Flew the airbus previously and interesting to see how that common clogged drain got taken care of. Hope to see more!
It’s a pleasure to have you here Captain. Got plenty of videos to keep you entertained till the next adventure
Thank you so much for sharing this side of Aviation that I don't usually get to see. It's great seeing videos of the engineering of major parts like enginese on CZcams, but when a person like you comes along to simplify and showcase even the most obscure things nobody would think of like the chiller for the galley carts you showed and how the work it satisfies my inner curiosity so much.
Thank you for your videos!
I am very happy that I can take you with me on these adventures and I appreciate you for being here and watching
Absolutely brilliant video quality content and very well put together!!!❤
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for this content.
I was going to go into aviation going through high school and university, even getting a few flight hours in. But with gradually building health issues I had to realign my goals from flight to ground based or other engineering work and eventually dropping out of the workforce entirely.
It all seems so very far out of reach nowdays, but seeing content like this even while stuck in bed does so much to keep my brain engaged and thinking and genuinely happy.
It helps so much that I can keep learning and stay engaged, seeing someone who enjoys and appreciates their job as much as I hope that I would.
Thankyou good sir for everything you share with the world.
It’s a pleasure to have you here and I’m glad you are learning and enjoying all of this. I wish the best for you in your future endeavors.

I’m very happy you were enjoying it. Sometimes I need to pause and explain in further detail, sometimes it two quick words is just not enough to understand the intricacies of the subsystems.

Love your videos man, they keep me entertained the entire time, which says a lot. Thanx again for sharing. Working for Ford almost 17 years & hating it I finally found a new career @Sony in electronics. Then walking in the building one day with my mgr. standing there waiting for me. Being told after almost 25 years out of the blue you have 60 days to find a new position I was devastated. It’s 14 years now & I still miss my customers & coworkers. Reterment sucks. So keep your memories & most of all keep your sense of humor!
Life is unpredictable sometimes. It takes you into different directions. Definitely hold on to the good memories.
Thanks for sharing, I hope your videos inspire some young people to take aviation up as a career. It certainly has done me well and judging by your enthusiasm I think you would agree. Cheers.
I hope so too! Aviation is a beautiful career.
I work at the ramp at a small airport in Uruguay. I really enjoy my work (most of the times) and so do my partners, and fun and passion makes everything better! Aviation is the only place I've seen sooo much people working in the same building really sharing the passion for what they do, and your videos show exactly how I feel about my job, it's marvellous and beautiful. Keep it up man, much respect!
Aviation is a very unique place where a diversity of people can come together for one unifying cause. To make it fly.
Really enjoyed this! Thanks for sharing.
It's nice to know how much work & effort goes behind maintaining aircrafts.
You probably know more about the aircraft and how its put together than the pilots! I respect you more.
Thank you very much for your kind words. I appreciate you watching.
