    Unfortunately, Tunisian infrastructure deteriorated to an unbelievable point in the last two decades. But the Medina is still a delight.

      Sadly we've had incompetent governments for way too long. Economically things are looking better today but we're still 20 years behind.

    Tunisia seems like a much better place to learn and practice Arabic for several months.

      Depends on what kind of Arabic you want to learn. It's vastly different in Tunisia than modern standard Arabic.
