UK Big Brother House 2023 Security Try To Intimidate Drone Operator / Citizen Journalist 🎥🛸❌

- Today we take a look at Garden Studios, 21 Waxlow Rd, London NW10 7NU.
This is the location of the Big Brother UK House 2023 which is actually just a normal commercial warehouse building with the garden being in the goods in/out yard.
We speak to many to many people including "Big Wig" (term used in the show) Tamsin Creative Director for Big Brother herself.
SRM Security disappointed me whilst creating this video, which is a great shame, as Big Brother will attract many citizen journalists / content creators to this location which is a council maintained road for us all to use and enjoy.

The irony of a TV production company producing a show called 'Big Brother' and complaining about surveillance is too absurd for words. 😂
I worked in the TV/Film Industry for 30 years and I can understand the need for security on set and that Producers do not wish to have surveillance of what they are producing before it is shown on the media. Spoilers ------ does that word mean anything to you ???
@@user-we7jr4ks4z Yes it does.
It means that TV companies, no matter how highly they regard themselves, do not have the right to dictate to the public.

The irony of Big Brother making millions from the very nature of cameras…. Yet don’t want you using your cameras.
Yeah but it’s ok if they do it because they’re big brother 😂
making millions its not even on itv 1 and only people seen talking about it is news channels not normal people
Exactly 💯 😭😭😭📹🤳...cldnt be more ironic!
TV stations: Don't film us, we have a right to privacy.
Also TV stations. We are in public and we can film anything. We have a right to know!
Under signing and guarding regulations where a footpath is closed and pedestrians are required to walk around the cordoned area onto a road, there is a requirement when entering a road to provide a footpath barrier to protect against accidents between vehicles and pedestrians.
Yep, we have those kinds of regulations in my country too. When there is work being done on the sidewalk, pipes are being dug out or tiles relaid of whatever, they always place the protective railing out into the street so that you can go there because the sidewalk is obstructed, sometimes bikes and pedestrians have to share that path due to their operation crossing both the sidewalk and the biking path which is then indicated by a sign that shows this. I think it's a good system, it works, we all just have to abide by that stuff for the purpose of being considerate to each other and to avoid harm.
Shows who they are. Only interested in protecting the shed.

The irony of them not wanting someone filming is unbelievable

It's insane. But hey, it's her job and she's trying. Don't believe for a second she doesn't understand, she does.
Biggest irony is someone filming the set of a show that none of his fans like.

"Are you a runner?"
The only running he's done is to a kebab shop. 😂
They are correct to be worried about drones filming their stuff. But not to send a bully to make law abiding people go away. They acted like this is completely unexpected, when they should already have plans to deal with this graciously. Considering the popularity factor this could have already happened with someone way less professional than DJ. Or even a malicious kind of clout chaser or troll.
The gas tool and the walkie talkie were an excellent touch! You had the first security guy completely perplexed.
Let me get this straight, “if you are on a public footpath, you cannot be zooming people, you get me!” I am blown away by the highly trained security officer! LOL.
That’s the problem. The training is inadequate and not fit for purpose.

The amount of people that think you can't film in public without their permission boggles my head it's common sense 😂
That's right, security cameras on houses and buildings, street cameras, cameras in cars, NPR cams at car park entrances (which snap every driver), tourists snapping away, webcams filming you and a thousand other types of public cameras, but get your phone or a camcorder out and BANG! - a qualified Wetherspoons lawyer appears with all the relevant legislation glued inside his empty head, often with the terribly embarrassing statement: "I knows the law". What the fuck does THAT mean? You know what laws, All of them? A few of them? Criminal Law? Family Law? Motoring Law? Property Law? All English Law? By spouting that halfwittery you announce to the world a colossus of personal stupidity before you even start, and just once I'd love to see DJ cross-examine a halfwit on that issue.

These film crews are always such an entitled bunch of tossers. They want to curtail everyone else's rights rather than work correctly within the parameters of the law. If they want privacy then they need to make it, not try to intimidate others out of their freedoms. Excellent work DJ.
A similar thing happened to Charlie Veitch when he encountered a film crew!
They try to pull the same shit in the USA, claiming something like "This is a copyrighted work." Yeah, the movie will be copyrighted. Your film set is not.

Never - they hire these thugs for a reason
Agreed. But as long as you know your rights, don't let them intimidate or bully you. Dj is great for educating people on this
Lol it’s not corruption you moron!
I have done an SIA course and they don’t teach you things like rights on filing etc because they don’t expect some bellend throwing his weight around for his you tube channel.
They focus on important things like keeping people safe.
The course is about 4 days long and when they tell you you need to display your licence at all times they tell you once at some point and it probably gets lost in the mountain of information you have to remember.
You think any of these security guards get in trouble for not having it on display 😂😂😂

As someone who works in the security industry I find it amazing how many jokers have a badge. How in 2023 anyone can think it's not permissable to film in public escapes me.
Recently SIA introduced extra training, and a lot of these jokers are being filtered out, about time, I had the misfortune of being placed with so many clueless wannabes it's scary.
I’ve seen genuine footage from an undercover journalist; they went to do the sia licence, with the company carrying out the test all but guaranteeing a pass. The guy running the course provided all answer for the test and it was done in one day. It’s a joke.
@@ethancoffey3694 It is a joke, thankfully most training is genuine, in fact in my recent upskilling many were failed on the basics so it was clear that their licence was not earned legitimately before.
@@DystopianArchive no doubting the majority are good honest people, but it’s the same with anything I suppose, you always get some bad apples. I’d love to get into though, always fancied it. Would you say it’s worth getting into?
@ethancoffey3694 It really depends on who you work for and where you work.
You instantly make yourself more employable and the pool of candidates is smaller than some other jobs hence more work for you.
If you're young and single door work is great, although I highly recommend not taking anyone home from a club, it's a very bad idea, but get people's numbers for sure.
If you're settled down, security guard work is the easiest job in the world.
Avoid retail security though, bad pay and actually quite dangerous.
@@DystopianArchive that’s really helpful, thanks. Good to see someone passionate about their work👍
Got to love how the msm portray this story in the daily fail trying to make out that dj was in the wrong and that security had got rid of the security breach and stopped him from filming. Its absolutely laughable!
Well they went to the studio for the story .. who aren't going to say that a guy came to the road outside and did what he is legalky allowed to do and showed their 'security' up.. that wouldn't be much of a story and what the msm want to show. They have an absolute cheek doing what they did and know it.. ha ha
It’s mad how they thought this was a security breach
Have you got a link to the article please mate?
At the start i pissed myself laughing, that security guy just looking at u in amazement, not knowing what to say or do,gobsmacked 🤣🤣🤣
Lmfao, dramatic fail - you can't film me ha ha, what in public. Great channel I just stumbled on, liked and subscribed cheers
Do security interviews these days go... "Do you eat at Gregg's three times a day?" "oh you do?"..... "you got the job."
I don't want to be filmed.... walks up to a person on a public footpath with a video camera 🤦♀
When will these clowns with badges and radios learn they can't tell people what to do in a public space. That clown security guard who spouted nonsense needs to go back on the training course, or actually attend it in the first place.
Most don't seem to want to display their licenses either.

It is perfectly legal and lawful to photograph anyone from a public place.
It's the scanning that's going to possible get dj in trouble, they can ask police to arrest u for that, u shouldn't tell them your doing that, I do on film sets often but something like big brother is higher security, some places I scan openly and talk to staff, but no way wiyh ig brother, I got on esltree big brother several times wiyh a very small one years ago but another time was found and they told us to take scanners away but we could come back in after

Guy filming is so lame, making a living off of probing people just trying to earn a living who are stuck where they work. He’s got all the time in the world to hang around, putting them on edge and bread-crumbing them into a reaction for views. Everyone was polite until they were made to feel on edge which they calmly express multiple times. Even when people asked to not be filmed and clearly feel uncomfortable you’ve put them on the internet, super disturbing. Damn the cringe is real. apparently if you have a camera you can do anything. Bro also threatens people multiple times, but “exposing them”. Even though it’s legal to film a public space, you don’t have to be such a douche about it. I don’t think they would have cared half as much if you had been less antagonistic from the beginning, but of course you wouldn’t have got all these views if there was no drama. You’ve basically used the “they’re asking for it” excuse, super problematic. I hope none of these people lost their jobs. Shame
Completely agree. He clearly got nothing better to do! Almost like he’s desperate for attention
Completely agree. Being provocative!
Big brother didn't like big brother watching them, and you wrote an essay about it. Don't be a wet wipe!
As a security guard myself i cannot understand why filming in public being perfectly legal and flying drones being lega due to companies not owning the airspace is not covered in any of the SIA training courses. For the amount the courses cost, it really should be covered
Because the SIA is regulatory only. They only ensure operatives are vetted and licenced. There are so many categories that have different skill sets. It is down to employers to ensure their operatives understand the law and responsibility of the role they are deployed to do. Unfortunately a lot of companies just employ operatives and throw them out to tick a box, until something goes wrong, then the operative gets fired for gross negligence, when its the employer who should be help to account.
The company does own the airspace - i can understand why people dont understand that
@@user-tn7is8gi8qThey own it but don’t regulate it. The FFA do. Hence planes don’t need to ask permission to flyover.
@@FateBoost Hahaha no they dont please dont watch too many auditors
@@user-tn7is8gi8q Ultimately the worst they can do is try and peruse you civilly for trespass. Which will typically result in no more than an injunction saying you may not visit that location again and if you do then it’s a criminal offence.
I love how most security personnel minds turns to putty before dribbling out of their faces as their souls, confidence and manners dissolve out of existence.
What the f are you on ?
@@christopherwhittaker2620 Have you not seen the video you're commenting under?
I don't get it... Why do you feel the need to come to this place specifically to antagonise people going about their work. You immediately try to get a reaction from the employees, zoom in on the worker's waists, which would naturally make anyone feel uncomfortable, while generally remaining impolite and uncivil for no reason other than to provoke a reaction. The world's full of enough hate without you causing intentional upset - could've been using your day to better society. Just because something's legal doesn't mean it's right. You need to get your morals sorted.
Feelings are personal and anyone has the right to feel as they wish without judgement. Why is it someone else’s job to walk on eggshells when they’re doing literally nothing wrong? Filming and/or photography is protected. Obstruction of that is an offence. If you’re advocating illegal restriction, join the just stop oil cunts. There’s no morally incorrect choices when it comes to filming in these types of locations. If people didn’t engage, there wouldn’t be an issue.
@@jrdnshwsgenerally if someone was zooming a camera on my backside even in a public setting, anyone in their right mind would feel uncomfortable, and it would be a righteous social cue to then confront that person and hopefully receive a valid explanation or civil conversation. Instead, the questions are met with snappy defensive replies that aim to provoke anger…
It's his lawful activity mate, GET BACK TO WORK!
Eff your feelings.
Because some people will do anything for views on CZcams. It's lazy content. What also bugs me as a drone hobbyist myself, is that it gives responsible pilots a really bad name when stuff like this happens.
Just because you are technically allowed to be a bellend, doesn't mean that you should be.
Great video best iv seen, you are the best auditor
This video has to be in the top ten, not only because of the high profile event where you have filmed, but how they have behaved, how insecure their processes are for such a high profile event, yet they blame you. You bringing out your ace card, the walkie talkie being the best part, well done for finding.
Mind-boggling that a TV studio handled this worse than the average industrial unit.
You’ve made the Daily Mail, well done. Need all the auditors to visit now.
The Big Brother house was struck by a breach of security on Thursday morning which left bosses in a panic as they scrambled to stop the infringement. A CZcamsr had attempted to fly a drone over the Big Brother house, trying to scour the studios. According to The Sun, a man claimed he had also somehow hacked into their radio systems and managed to listen into crew conversations. After spotting the man, the security team attempted to usher him away to prevent a breach, but he refused to move. The unknown man, who continued to film surroundings, reportedly shouted: 'I will defend myself.'
