You can actually get away with only two wins, and two silvers. However, the last race you have to win and it ties you with the A.I's points but you still win.
I didn't say it wasn't. it was for me a couple times. But, as I said, two wins are not a guaranteed gold, while three are. Many games will give you a gold based on a tie; This one does not; not in all cases anyway. That's all I'm saying, and that's all I'm going to say.

Re-read what I wrote. The key word was "basically". Two wins out of four are not a guarantee of a gold. Nor should they be.
