    Best UV workflow.
3d max with textools, uvw map modifier, zbrush for stretching uv like faces and organic characters

I have been working in 3ds max from last 5 years and i have worked on every possible pipeline, AR,VR,apple Ar kit, for Meta and other standard 3d assets workflow.
I have never faced any issue when it comes to UV mapping, infact its better than Maya and Blender (personaly tested). Of course there are downsides, the major one is it can not export glb/usdz file format natively, tho with plugin it can but the results are not accurate

The only thing I see here that is truly ground breaking is the ability to transfer your cuts to completely other shapes. Ultimately when unwrapping I’ve noticed there are only truly 3 ways to placing your cuts on a mesh. Your either unwrapping a surface how you would a box or a cylinder or a face. And once you build a repository of these cuts into modifiers, I could see you unwrapping entire scenes with a click of a button.

Not without the textool plugin, but 3DCoat is better still.
