LB7 California EGR delete

Very few 2004 LB7’s have the California EGR emissions on them, I’ll explain what you will want to do to delete it.

Profab performance makes blocker plates for the up pipe and y bridge.

so for the hose on the left side where does that plug into or go to? and is it necessary to do a y bridge upgrade after deleting the egr system? Thanks!

I am new to diesels and just purchased a 2004 2500HD duramax (it's LLY) with 159000 miles on it. Would you recommend doing an EGR delete on these older models. Would it be too late meaning damage has already been done? Can EGR delete rectify any problems that have built? I do not know if this year has them?

What did you end up doing about RE FLASH? I just got blocker plates that i made on. Removing Vac pump tonight. wonder if i have to get EFI ?

I see on the forums that an easy way to make it able to enable it again if you're in California would be to remove the vacuum line to the EGR valve and block both ends off. Would you recommend this? I'm in California and I need to be able to easily reenable the EGR for smog.
