- President Hage Geingob answers media questions at a press conference in Windhoek on Sunday. The president denied suggestions that the ruling party benefited from Namibia’s biggest fishing scandal: Fishrot.

I agree with the President, let us wait for the court ruling instead of pushing our perception on the party and government. We need to trust in our justice system instead of the rumors we are accumulating daily. Our current president is truly transparent, we have never seen properties being declared in our country, tenders being cancelled and GRN win cases in court. ACC is doing a great job and is being the president declared non political interference in the proceedings. Well done GRN and our president

SWAPO is an organisation ,a mass organisation that belongs to many patriotic citizens of Namibia many of them who don't even know what is fish-rot. It is too awkward to stand up and say SWAPO is corrupt ,SWAPO leadership is corrupt and at some points claim that the leadership must resign. It is truly ridiculous. If there are those you know that are corrupt, get up and go report them to the relevant authorities such as ACC or make a case against them, provided that you have evidence to support your allegations. Nobody is denying the fact that some people are probably corrupt, but blaming individuals corruption on the people's party is really illogical. Those that are corrupt are in prison,some are being investigated by the competent institutions that are established to do so. The Namibian Newspaper, some members of oppositions and their associates must make a distinction between individuals and the organisation.
