      @@torqueconverter5594 correct but still 200-230rwhp isn't really amazing out of the 3.8 alot of people these days when they actually do tuning get around 280-320rwhp n/a then L67 setups hit 280-500rwhp and turbo ecojets can get from 240ish-1000rwhp as tech and product build quality goes up so does power

    • @ESISTTIGER
      @ESISTTIGER Před 2 lety +3

      @Brandon thats because the M90's that the L67 use are shit and flow worse than an ecotec intake manifold
      I've owned 3 of the L67
      And 10+ ecotec
      An ecotec is way more capable of pushing 300rwhp than an L67
      Proflow holley-style intake manifold
      Proflow extractors, twin cat delete pipes into a 2.25 or 2.5 xforce catback
      LS7 lifters, hd pushrods, light weight stock ratio rockers, 130lb valve springs ported and shaved heads and larger valves decked block 4.2 stroker with billet crank running 98 and dyno tuned

    So 222.9hp a 33hp increase to me aint all that great at all!
    15%hp gain ts just noticeable to drive!
    Thats just extractors exhaust n a pod filter on an engine in good nick!

      @justinblake420 Před 7 lety

      TheWretchedWorld were talking naturally aspirated engines so whats ur point raising the issue of cam shafts bricey 94 mentioned "bolt on mods n head work" that is natural aspiration!
      I had my ecotec engine running ram air cold air intake, dual throttle, ported and pollished intake manifold, pollished valve seats, stage 2 cam and rockers, port n polished heads, extractors, 3.5" high flow exhaust, stroke kit, bored cylenders, forged pistons, mafless tune, 18psi injectiors, high pressure fuel pump(30pounder) msd spark enhancer, msd ingnition, mds leads, 3mm sparkplugs, head spaced inline sparkplugs, adjustable stall converter, stage 2 shift kit, long range 4 speed box, after market diff gears, drilled n slotted brakes v8 brakes and calipers, ultra light 17" mags and 201kg weight reduction my vs weighed 998kg
      My ecotec was also naturally aspirated and it had well over 222.9 mentioned in this video!
      My car was dynoed at 340hp before the last of the mods were done(stroke and bore which give massive gains) so i would have had it atleast 460hp when it exploded! Yes it exploded blew pistons and a rod and pieces of crank out through the sump!!!
      148kw 300kw 206hp 222hp 600hp 550hp these numbers r easily achievable by those who know what they r doing
      Keep in ming in order to get the full benifit of a cam u need head valve intake and exhaust work!
      To take full advantage of an exhaust u need head valve cam n intake work
      All mods need support mods!
      U cant take a 1/10 engine add a 5/10 cam n think ur whole engine will pull numbers like a 5/10 engine
